If you don’t need the cab space, this is not a bad option. I have kids so this wasn’t really possible for me without putting it in the bed. And when I did put it in the bed, it stayed in the bed because I’m lazy and had FOMO that I might not have it when I need it. It’s crazy, but I’m just being...
I own a few of those too. They are not cheaper, but they are bigger. Bigger also means lost bed or cab space, which may or may not be a problem.
I will still use a portable fridge as needed, but I don’t plan on leaving one in the bed like I did before.

Dometic is legit and the leader in 12v refrigerators. I have one in my camper and another by ARB. They are both surprisingly cold and efficient.

How do you like the table? I’ve been thinking about that or one of those tire tables. I have a camper with a full set up so I would only use it for day trips to the beach, fishing, tailgating, etc.
If it happens again, check the ground screws in the front of the engine bay. Mine looked fine and didn't move with a slight tug but they were my issue. There are 2 screws per side if I recall.
Next, I would check the rear speed sensors to see if any dirt or water got in there.
After that, take...
Sorry for the late response on this one. There were 2 loose grounds that had stripped screws. One of them I removed previously and must have stripped out (still not sure how), and the other was never touched. The ground screws were towards the front of the engine bay on both the left and right...
Check out the Opus. Not trying to promote it, but it does inflate (no poles) in about 2 minutes. Easier than an RTT really.

Definitely agree. My plan is to set up base camp then go explore the trails. The trailer I got is pretty good for off road conditions, but I wouldn’t take it somewhere I wasn’t comfortable with or had been before.

I found myself going down this path and ultimately decided on a pretty sweet Opus 4 popup travel camper.
I felt that all the things I needed to overland was expensive and not a really great experience with the family. I definitely ended up spending more than my overland / RTT setup would cost...
I got the truck back and the dealer found a loose ground which was causing a communication error and causing the systems to shut down. I was a little skeptical, but to be fair, I did dry fit an Up Down Air controller a week earlier and it's possible I overtightened a ground screw and unknowingly...
@FordTechOne and sorry to be annoying with multiple posts, but how do I go about requesting a Ford Field Engineer? Any suggestions or just call ford customer service?
I was really hoping I don't need to go that route, but I really don't have much confidence after:
1. My local dealer who sold me the truck couldn't even get me an appointment for 11 days.
2. I called Ford Roadside Assistance to have it towed to a different dealer and 3 hours after the...
Thanks, me too.
Looks like a few similar issues on the forum but I haven’t seen any resolutions reported back. Unfortunately, most look like recurring issues.
Luckily, MD lemon law is pretty consumer friendly. It allows the dealer one shot at fixing brake or steering problems once a claim is...
Was this ever resolved? I’m having similar issues and most of the same codes:
https://www.fordraptorforum.com/threads/raptor-throwing-every-error-message.78227/page-6#post-1526366
Finally found my OBD scanner. Here’s the codes:
U0121-87
U0121-00
P0557-00
P1935-00
U1012-00
Clearing the codes wouldn’t let me release the parking brake either. Was trying to at least get the e-brake off so it could be driven to Ford and not dragged out on a tow truck.
Disconnected the Autostop Eliminator. No fix, but now the truck somehow engaged the parking brake and won’t release it. I can’t put the e-brake in maintenance mode either.
This keeps getting more and more fun!
