Agreed. Worst case I saw this on another thread. https://www.americantrucks.com/proryde-3in1-adjustable-rear-block-lift-kit-0416-4wd.html
Temp solution until I can spend 1400+
There is a place out in Walker where they work them out. I’ll try to find the name and send it your way. If you were to look for used Raptors in our area on autotrader or some car search engine. Once you hit search sort the results by price from high to low and you will see some between 90k to...
I ended up ordering it after measuring both side around 50 times and checking tire pressure and many other things. Long story short I am right at 2’ difference between front and back. Nick from Apollo Optics said that 2.25’ is what he has seen out of Eibach on 2018s.
If that’s the case I might...
Finally spoke with Eibach to get some answers. Not to say that some of you have already done so.
Here is what I got:
Spring Rate is 548 on 2018 and 2019 models. They changed it a while ago (pre-2017) according to what the tech was able to pull in the system.
Lift;
2018 you get 2.5'
2019 you...
I heard the mark up on this is $25K + from msrp.
I am a raptor fan but not sure if paying 100K for a raptor is a smart choice.
If you got the disposable I guess but I still think it is money wasted.
I have an 18.
I have read the same thing but I continue to see some folks getting a perfect level truck and some other sagging and a mix of 19s and 18s.
Is yours 18? I assume so because of the rims and the shocks look blue from the picture.
I am sitting at 40 front and 41.5 rear. Safe to assume that the Eibach will take my truck too high unless they settle at 1.7 or so like I have read in this trail of postings. I do want to go for them but will hate to see the truck sag back. Can’t afford the Deavers just yet.
Your truck looks...
Same here. I got a 2018 with 18K miles in February for $58K + some mods and i could have gone for a 2019 ~ $10K more minus mods. I guess someone in a similar situation that you are in pulled the trigger and I got lucky on the other site.
Not worth it for the new shocks. Better wait for the...
I sold my Land Cruiser 3 months ago and got a 2018 Raptor. If this makes you feel better, I had an ICON set up and went from 265s to BFG A/T 285s. That small mod got the lC to go from 16 MPG to 12 MPG - 13MPG city and highway... Loved the SUV for offroading but a Raptor is at a whole...
Looks amazing. Congrats on the job man. I regret not going for at least 70%. On the flip side 50% and my blindness at night would not be safe for me or anyone around me.
I just did my windshield at 80% ceramic. I inquired about the sunroof and got the same answer. I don't think it is worth the risk. Just do all windows and windshield and that should be enough to keep the car cool while driving without having to put your fan at 10.
Good price for the windshield. I was quoted $375 and then $299 at a different place. Are you going with CR70 or 90 for the windshield? I am leaning towards 70 based on what i have been reading and also the shop told me that from 90-70 there is a big difference in performance.
I am about to get 3M CR 70 on front windshield (This week). I do have factory tint on the front and read windows but you can still feel the heat come in.
In Houston, we got to 89 yesterday and it was miserable. I am expecting a bad summer so I am starting with the Windshield and depending on...
Thanks for the heads up. I have done 3 cars in the past and after modifications is a never ending story to try to keep it right. I am still on the fence with this one so I am trying to gather opinions and see if I go for it. For now it is all about the looks because I am not planning on...
Chas, I am considering doing the same you did but concerned with the suspension getting stiffer as well as new noises. I know many say that this is just in someone head and nothing changes. Do you have any opinions since you been running it for a while?
