I've see the Coyote crate engines they're only around 7K shipped for a brand new engine. However, can't seem to find anything like that from Ford Performance for the Raptor.
I'm just like to have a plan in place, I'm not getting it rebuilt until it goes. I could probably pull another 50-100K...
Correct, just a new engine. Like you can buy a crate engine from ford or chevy, is there anyone out there that sells a crate engine for the Raptor.
I've looked at Livernois before and the 6.6 the complete engine is 20K, while the shortblock is 7K. Both of which are meant to handle heavy HP...
My 2012 is getting on up there in miles (160K). Although the engine is still running fine, I've been looking and can't really seem to find anything. I don't want a high performance engine, just the stock 6.2L. Anyone know of a source for them? Thanks
Sorry I missed this. I just got an email notification about this post.
FYI for anyone else wondering I just used the supplied hardware that came with the lights and drilled a hole behind the grille bumpstop.
Install looks good, for the money its hard to beat
I love mine, beautiful sound. I'm a big fan of the lightning exit since I owned a '02 lightning back in the day. There is a tiny bit of drone at higher speeds, but I don't really notice it much.
I agree it is a lot of miles, but the truck has been taken care of very well all service has been done along with the tune ups. I wouldn't have bought it from a stranger with that many miles, but knowing his service routine I'm comfortable with it.
Paid cash for it as well so not like I have...
It does block some, but I turned them on last night with and without the hood open to see how much light loss there is, but really there isn't a "huge" difference. Its definitely brighter with the hood up, but for the amount of light loss with it down and the stealth look I couldn't be happier...
Did some research and didn't want to really drop 1k+ per bar so found the best rated eBay bars I could and bought them. Maybe in the future I might upgrade. But these seem to be pretty nicely made. Only had to drill 2 holes behind the grille bumpers everything else matched up with factory holes...
Thank you sir!! It was taken really good care of very well.

Thanks :happy107:
Thanks, from reading the forum I can see a LOT of you guys do not like anything over 17" wheels on a Raptor. This one came with the Method 17", but I'm just not a fan of tiny wheels and huge sidewall. Mine will be used for trail/hunting use so no crazy rock crawling or offroading.
I went with the 20" fuel trophy bead locks. From what I've read a lot of guys don't like anything bigger than 17" but I'm just not a fan of tiny wheels.
Thanks, mine has exhaust and MT tires so I probably wouldn't hear it. But got some feedback from the OP of the thread from 2016 letting me know this probably wasn't the best option especially the mount from RC.
