Hi Red
I spoke with AFE through their representative in kuwait and they recommended to install the inlet pips back but this time with OEM hoses and now i have been driving the truck for few days and no check engine came back on
the AFE turbo inlet they designed the peto tube the same as the OEM pipes and the same direction as well even they said to install the factory hoses to make sure the airflow stay the same but still get the check engine light
More than a week now with stuck inlet pipes also i am pushing the car for a bit to create a high pressure but i did not get a check engine light so what i think is its a inlet pipe problem and my car can not adjust to the new high pressure caused by the inlet
I still got the check engine light back on with the same code
Could you tell me if u have turbo adapters aswell as the turbo inlet pupes?
Most of my friends here have installed the turbo inlet pipes with no issues but the only difference is i have the turbo adapters as well the inlet
I think...
Did you solve the issue yourself or still have it? I spoke with MPT they said there is no tune or anything they can do to fix this. So the final thing i came up with with AFE that they manufactured a tube that has no connectors its just one piece so i will fix this Saturday and hopefully it will...
I gave up on that code i just reset it when ever it comes up. What I noticed is when driving long roads nothing happens but driving in the city that makes the code appear so its a boost issue from the driver side turbo inlet
two weeks in and no code i think there was a leak caused by the factory hoses as they are not compatible with the after market inlets and thats the issue is already dressed to AFE and if you going to contact them just mention the dealer in Kuwait as he already informed them about it
I am driving the car for a week now and i am happy to report that all is good, no issues at all. It usually takes four days to check engine sign to come up so i think it is solved. It seemed that there was a leek from the hoses as they do not fit right. I will drive for another week and will...
AFE just sent me two hoses and asked me to install them so i did and will drive the car for few days and then will report back
“H” and “G”
But G have different size ends
I put back my stock inlet and the check engine just gone therefore i spoke with AFE and told them. They offered a replacement for their turbo inlet so i will wait til they install the new replacement and see
If you are using AFE cold air intake and turbo inlets you dont need that white piece its used just for AFE cold air intake with OEM turbo inlet thats whats it said in AFE website
AFE momentum GT
And every time i clear the code it takes fee days to come back on
Will replace the EVAP purge valve soon and will see if that fixes the issue will update you once i replace and test it for few days
Could anyone tell me which is better to put 3” pipe or 3.5” pipe for cat back
I have a factory here and they are welling to make both as i want as the owner recommended the 3.5” but as i see in the market most are 3” pipes
Anyone have any ideas and whats the difference and benefits please
