Actually you do not with this unit. It is receiving the ON/OFF signal from the audio input and then triggering the amp so as long as the audio is playing the sub will be on
Yes, it has a specific feature to counter bass roll off. Its called "ACCUbass" setting.

Just finished this and it sounds great!
Rockford fosgate Punch 300w amp
LC2i line level converter (this is the special sauce that makes it boom!)
Pioneer shallow mount 8" sub
Dynomatted the box and added poly fill
8g wire run down passenger side
Plan on replacing speakers with some mid...
+1 to this. I have a spray in liner and couldn't tell from underneath where the drain holes are.....my plan is to just route them under the bed rug bed mat once it arrives.
Everybody not using a high quality line level converter is missing out

It takes the speaker level inputs form the factory amp and provides a pre amp level signal for the sub amp. Additionally it turns on when it detects signal...
Im not thrilled with the B+O system in my 2018 and am about to replace the speakers. ITs not awful but just sort of hollow and lacking punch . It definitely sounds noticeably better than my friends Sony system on his 2017 but its easy enough to replace the speakers so ill be going that route
I took delivery of my 2018 white SCREW this past week and put on the Ford Performance Sport exhaust. It sounds great! Nice and loud when you get on it but once you are up to speed and the transmission gears up the drone disappears. Did a 30 min drive on the highway at about 75-80mph and in...
Installed my retraxPRO MX and it's great! Not sure how to handle the drain tubes. I have a spray in liner so I have no clue how to find and drill out the drain holes. My plan is to let it drain under the bed rug. Is this a good plan?
Just did the install. Super easy! Took just under two hours and didn't even need to jack stand/lift the truck. spent most of my time cleaning the threads out of the damn boost tap to get the nipples and plug screw in there. Sounds great!
After the positive reviews on the FP touring exhaust I'm eargerly awaiting the Sport system
Any idea when this will be released and of course looking for first hand experience.
and NO!!! I don't want a "quiet flow system" to quiet down the eco boost so don't bothering trying to convince...
that looks fantastic! I am definitely going the same route as you. did you have to purchase another "F150" emblem as it is separate letters? Is the central emblem aftermarket?
Has anybody wrapped their non applique tailgate? I was thinking of doing black vinyl in the same pattern as the applique and curious if you had to purchase new emblems to apply back over the vinyl.
