My point is just that for ANY of those other things that are frequently and commonly done to these trucks that many people brush off as no big deal even though they're technically illegal too.
I'm not saying if you're towing over weight while also with tint, or while also speeding, or while...
are those the ones that look like rubbery roast beef flaps flapping in the wind that I see on ricers all the time? lol
those kind remind me of this meme every time I see them lol

Okay guys, this is the final, 1-6 all paid/shipped, #7/8 were just completed with the last couple pieces to make them full kits, both pending payments, that wraps this up. To get any more we'll need another group of 5 committed.

2- adevice (SHIPPED)

rear decals don't appear to be OEM, so I wouldn't have much heartache about peeling them off since they're chipped and have Rappy Graphics make you some Jokerz customized ones.
I don't think it's paint but more of an anodized coating or something.
But it's apples to oranges. The finish holding up to the elements over time doesn't really reflect or correlate to the fitment.
Never said I know everything about everything, heck my post has nothing to do about being humble or not.
And don't worry, I'm a lead engineer on a different multi-billion dollar project lol :specialed: Maybe that's why I can see past the stereotypes of "dur raptor = offroad only, no towie...
It's the exact same cover, and it's not like the backflip f1's are known for any fitment or sloppy tolerance issues, or that they use different rails at random. Clicked on in about 2-1/2 seconds, and the nut handles to secure the front took about 30 seconds.
blah
line-x'ed flares and bumpers black look good
line-x'ed body looks bleh. The dirt colored ones look okay. Blue linex not a fan. It's like a big plastic cookie monster. PDR on the dings, repaint the lower doors if needed, clear bra the lower half to protect from chips (or a set of PDP...
that's odd. When I had mine covered under warranty through Morrie at Bak Factory Outlet, he had the new one shipped, and it came with a return shipping label for the old one.
I can see them not wanting to spend money for returning a defective cover they're going to chuck anyway, but you'd...
Understandable, especially since it's not a cheap investment lol, but the stereotype did get a bit out of hand with the "weak frame" deal, yes it's weak when driven like a trophy truck across kickers taller than available suspension compression. When used within reasonable limitations, and when...
man some of you guys have got a lot of extra chit on those trucks! lol
A bone stock screw empty shipping weight with no passengers, no accessories, and an empty fuel tank is just under 6,000 lbs at around 599x.
Mine on the certified scales at MIR was 6335, 100% bone stock with me (200 lbs)...
the pedalmax just plugs into the throttle cable plug right? Basically just re-scales the pedal input (which tunes effectively do as well and where they gain most of their seat of the pants increases anyway).
I've been contemplating the boost-max for our explorer sport that we've got an extended...
maybe in extreme offroading, but for regular towing they really shouldn't. These are still the same frames that all the other f150's have that have 11,300 lb tow ratings. The bending comes from hitting kickers that exceed the suspension travel at excessively high speed. Towing on paved highway...
Is that a serious question? Come on now. These trucks don't have wet noddle defective eggshell frames. Or did you think I went offroading while towing that weight hitting stuff? I'd have to hit full size curbs at 80 mph to even attempt to do damage like that while towing.
YES they will bend if...
looks great. the chrome is out of place with no other chrome on the truck
I did something similar years ago, used duplicolor charcoal gray which is nearly an exact match to the fender flares, and OEM color of the emblems that are gray, so now the ford oval surround matches the rest

Update.....still waiting to hear from OrangeAddict but I see he hasn't been on FRF in a couple weeks so trying to keep his spot reserved until he gets back online so he at least as a chance. There was enough material to build 6-1/2 kits worth, so Sano was able to jump into it and snag the 6th...
Bumping this,
I did an oil change on mine last night at 42k, and saw it was leaking at the very same spot. I just did an oil change 4k miles ago at 38k and it was pristine down there. Called the dealer to see if it'd be covered under 5/60k powertrain and nope. Searching around on FRF seems...
Sasquatch or RDFTS, were either of you, or anyone else, able to confirm the proper PN? I found another thread (http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f39/power-steering-hose-part-number-11848/) that said Hose # BL3Z-3A719-C. Searching it up on Tasca it only leads me to the -D version...
Do you really think Ford rated it for 8k lbs towing with ZERO margin of safety? And that if you tow AT the 8k limit that you're going to destroy or wreck the truck?
Now I'm not going to recommend towing above the 8k limit and say do it all the time, but I will say at the rating or below, have...
