As i mentioned before the original cutouts are from the piece designed for the original f150 based on mounting points and length fit to the truck. This piece was already made before the raptor was released. They contract out an oem supplier make several batches of them, why create a brand new...
Based on logo placement for the raptors my thinking is the raptor designation labeling went on the rear and they kept the ford name toward the front and back. Ford loves to place their name everywhere they can but preserve the raptor name probably from avoiding diluting the sub brand all over...
Maybe hogwash in your mind simply because the company doesnt publish their compliance requirements or standards doesnt mean it doesnt exist. There is some truth to the concept in principle in some federal vehicular codes that may had been carried over to cover some requirements on the safe side...
The intended purpose oem manufacrurer designed them for are different from what ford prioritized when placing them on the truck. Very few people under 6 feet tall would be able to reach the windshield without stepping on those fully extended rails to brush snow off the center windshield or clean...
The purpose of the wider front is for people of average height to stand toward the front and be able to reach the center windshield to clean it down when needed. Theres no need to stand on the rear portion because you have access from the bed if you need to climb up there. Putting the narrow...
Has anyone purchased and installed this? It looks like a replica from the ford f22 raptor.

I removed these for a set of custom wheels i replaced recently. Had about 5k miles on these are practically brand new with just markings from mounting. No dents or scratches.
Vossen 20x9.5 with 15mm offset.
I have these set of spd adapters im selling from my stock turbos i had installed and got a new set that came with my garrett turbos.
Asking $120 shipped includes the set of factory studs for the turbos.
I removed the shutters and fans and havent had any issues. They are just obstruction for airflow on either ends and with a high perf. Intercooler it is counter productive to have either of them. The shutters simply are for less resistance to theoretically save gas but i doubt you would notice...
Do you have pics of how your repair looks? I believe I have the same issue and will do some permanent repairs but first need to know why they opted to use foam here to begin with and is it dripping through the gap on the foam that is not glued or is it going above the foam where the sheet metal...

i have this left over if anyone is interested to powdercoat parts to match the fox 3.0 shocks.
i posted the pic of what i matched to my fox 3.0 above, is that not close enough? I have about half a pound left of the powder coat if you're interested I can ship it to you for free if you cover shipping.
glad to see this option as I was just about to get this project started with the CRP ones. This looks more developed than the preivous options and they seem to work with Garrett turbos with no mods as well.
