I'm going to be doing a stereo, lighting, and other upgrades to the truck in the next few weeks and am looking for places to run wires into the cab. I searched through the forum, and found some people prefer the driver's side grommet and others prefer the passenger side. I also read somewhere...
I'm mediocre on these. I think Husky did a nice job of designing them, and they fit just like factory front liners. They're also very easy to install.
That being said, there's a downside. When you install these, the OEM fender flare drops a little bit, exposing tons of scratches where your...
Thanks for sharing this. I was about to plug some Rigid D2 lights into the OEM circuit, but will re-think that plan now! I think time to cap them off instead.
I was starting to feel like the water was needed too. ;)
I'm leaning towards the Rigid D-Series kit. I like the OEM look of the Raptor small lights, but to upgrade those is just too much money versus you get, for my tastes at least. I like Diode Dynamics 3" lights, but in my opinion they're...
Thanks everyone for your input and knowledge.
I agree with Specialty Performance Parts that Rigid makes great lights (having run them myself in the past). I really like the size of the D-series and the amber backlight appearance of the Radiance series too.
I also agree with 4x4 Truck LEDs...
I appreciate the help guys. I know this topic has been beat to heck, but i couldn't find anything in the forums that showed a battery at the proper voltage, yet continued alerts on my phone for "deep sleep'. I'll test the battery today with a load tester.
I guess I'm spoiled from my last...
I read a bunch of battery threads here, but couldn't find the same problem I have. Can anyone throw a few ideas my way?
Earlier this week I ran my hazards and a 12v cigarette adapter strobe light for an hour or two while working (truck off). The battery got down to ~11.5 volts. The truck...
And here are the regular Weathertech's. They're much, much better. They come up higher by the accelerator, higher near the hood release latch, and much more coverage for the driver's left foot. On the passenger side.... a ton more coverage. They also fit much better than the HP. There's no...
Here's one more comparison for the group. I decide to buy the Weathertech HP mats. Online pictures weren't great, and it was hard to determine if the HP were the same or a different cut than the regular Weathertech mats. I emailed Weathertech, and they said they were the same.
So I bought...
I found my answer about the Rigid Radiance Scene lights. As cool as they look, their light output is not very useful for me. It's effectively a flood light with no aiming. So if you're rock crawling at slow speed, or parked and need a work light -- these would be great. If you want to use...
Can anyone share details on the Rigid Radiance Scene lights? I absolutely love the amber backlighting but I fear the actual light output of the main LEDS is poorly focused. Is this a flood/scene style light? Or a driving/spot combo? Their advertisement is pretty vague.
I'm definitely...
Do you have any info (such as lumens) on the Ford OEM lights? I'm trying to decide between all of the options and it'd be helpful to have a starting point.
...I used to have the Rigid Dually D2 Driving beam pattern on my last pickup, and they were awesome!
Thought I'd share a quick comparison with the pictures I was able to find. I decided on the Weathertech mats. I like how they go really high near the gas pedal, and also where my feet swing to exit the truck. The Husky don't go nearly as high. The Tux Mats look awesome, and it was a hard...
Sorry for digging up an old thread, but i thought it was better than starting a new one. If I ever join one of these offroad events where the lights are needed/suggested, do they need to be mounted as high as possible? Or can these amber lights be mounted next to the rear tow hooks down low...
New seat brackets have been ordered, and the paint issues have been reported to Ford. Unfortunately 2 of the decals would need to be replaced along with quite a bit of paint correction. We're waiting to hear back from his contacts before we tackle the project.
I hear ya. My raptor arrived with bubbles in the paint, and scratches on nearly every panel. The passenger door looks like someone gave a 3 year old a stick and said "have fun". I didn't expect perfection, but this was the worst factor-new truck paint I've ever received. Between that and the...
I'm looking for a bed divider for my '23 Raptor and struggling to find something I like. Am I missing an obvious option? So far I've found the following:
- Ford folding bed extender (Not a big fan because it will block the BuiltRight Bedside rack system. Also it's curved.
- Ford Bed Divider...
