Thanks. But I know how to search on autotrader...I pretty much live on it every day lol... I had mentioned that there were only 9 "2024" raptor r's. I had heard from a friend that the 2024 is quite a bit of improvement over the 2023. thank you though for the tips! And I saw that you could...
Hey guys. I’m tossing around the idea of getting a raptor r. i had a raptor and loved it. But I pull a boat often and thought an f250 tremor would be better. And while it is amazing at pulling the oat, I just miss the maneuverability of the raptor. I did a search on Autotrader and saw there are...
I think we all know that the F150 has a higher payload and towing capacity than the raptor. As everyone has said before, stay within the numbers of your truck and you will be fine. But thanks though
that's interesting! Might look into that. I tend to like stock stuff but I'll check it out. Yeh I've driven in a few macans...lol f250 tremor to macan gts ...can't be too many out there that made that transition! pretty stiff suspension!
Thank you again for your great feedback. Still having a tough time making a decision. Wish these things were easy to go test drive ha. I'm not really that worried about it...I know all these trucks are great! Sounds like it's going to be impossible to order either a trx 24 or a raptor...
anyone else have a dealership willing to do a 37 package at msrp? i've called all the dealers in my area and either they have no clue about the order process or they are wanting over msrp. Very frustrating. I really need a truck by first quarter of next year so don't really want to be 20th on...
Yeh that’s what I was told as well. Haven’t seen an email either. I put the order in with the owner of the dealership and he didn’t know what the raptor R version was lol…so I’m a littler nervous it was put in correctly
Well where we are at, we always use the ford app if we want to lock keys in. But yeh I understand how it could be helpful. I’ve had my raptor for 5 years tho and have yet to use it. It just dates the look of the truck. But I really didn’t mean to get on here and argue the pros and cons. Just...
Did anyone notice the door keypad is missing on the new '24 model? Maybe they just left it off the preproduction trucks. Anyone know anything about this? I would love for them to drop that
Does everyone really not like the green? I mean, I know it's not exciting, but I thought it looked pretty good. I'll probably be between that and avalanche
yeh but like I said...it still can tow quite a bit still within it's limits. Yes, you have to be mindful of payload...but you can still pull a decent size boat safely.
I hear you man...right there with you. I think I am leaning toward the raptor 37. I did find a TRX '21 to test drive...it was ok. Did love the exhaust and supercharger noise...but wasn't that impressed. And with the markup in pricing for the '24...I don't feel like it will retain its value...
I don't know how much your boat weighs...but the raptor is still rated to tow 8k and 1400 payload...so if you are within those guidelines...then there's nothing to be scared about. I tow with mine all the time and have zero issues. The truck is plenty capable. I was just curious what it's...
Yeh I missed this comment. Great help! Have you pulled the boat with both trucks? how do they compare? Sounds like the raptor does fine which is good to hear. Mine does fine as well...I just assumed the f250 would be that much better. But maybe it's not that much of a difference. I assume...
Good thread! I'm towing a boat so can't use a normal weight distribution setup like you travel trailer guys use. Looking at the air lift 1000 system. Does this system boost your payload capacity? Or is the only function to reduce squat?
Sounds like you will definitely be pushing the payload. I'm no trailer expert but I think you are looking at 4700lb on trailer...so that's approx 470lb of tongue weight. So add that to your payload of 1000 and that puts you at 1470lbs which is over the payload of a raptor.
If I were you, I would keep the 37pp and get a 911. You could get a new 992 911 for under $150k and they have 4 seats. I looked at the avant and also looked at the panamera turbo s sport turismo....I did a ton of research on them and talked to several who had them. I discovered that most that...
In this forum...there are threads. And each thread has a title...if the title doesn't sound like something you would be interested in...then maybe don't read it. I understand your frustration, but the thread is literally titled "raptor r alternatives..."
