I have tried Sport mode on my 2017 and 2019 and just feel like I am beating the crud out of the truck with how it needlessly holds RPMs and takes forever to upshift after getting in the gas a little. To me, Sport mode equals a Competition Racing mode and we need something between Normal and what...
If the fit is that tight, you are playing with danger. It will be just a matter of time before you hit the side of the truck trying to get it in your garage or out. I'm sure you are a great driver, but as you get more confident and start doing it faster and paying less attention, there is a good...
Watch the gear indicator to see what gear it is in and if the transmission is downshifting as the truck slows. Also watch the RPM's; maybe the torque converter is still locked up and your shudder is the RPM's are getting really low before it finally downshifs.
Just a thought, but I would suggest starting off in the Raptor and see how it goes. If it isn't working for you, then you can look at other options. It doesn't make sense to jump the gun on something that will create debt and may not be needed.
I don't hate the color, but I think they could have done better. Based on the pics that I have seen, it looks like a failed/weak red. A stronger orange would have been better. My real preference would be fluorescent colors (orange, red, blue, green).
If I show the open apps on my phone after I turn off the truck and disconnect my phone, it does not show Waze or Pandora, but I promise you, they are running. I will do some more research and let you know if I find anything.
I am also a fan, but the one thing I did not like when I looked at the pics was the doors. I do like the idea of having something carry over to the doors, but what they carried over may not be enough for me and it is too linear. I think the rest looks great. Thoughts?
Thanks for your help. Help me understand what you mean. I need to have my phone open for it to be recognized for CarPlay. Unless I am mistaken, I believe it remains open from that point forward, but I will test tonight. I also believe I have disconnected my phone while the truck is running...
The emblem that I put on the side is the exact same emblem that comes on the rear tailgate of an 800A truck. I think it adds something to the looks without being too much. I also like the looks of the door molding that I added for the same reason.
It has done it for as long as I can remember, but I am on the latest IOS. It is weird that the apps keep running in ghost mode on my I-phone and are not visible when swiping through my apps, but I am pretty certain they are running in the background because it is guaranteed that my battery will...
When I unplug my I-phone from my truck, the battery on my phone will go dead much faster than normal if I do not open up Pandora and Waze manually (the two apps I use in my truck) and shut them down manually. If I toggle through the open apps on my phone, it does not show them, so I need to...
I did something similar on the side of my truck. How does the raised emblem look on the hood in person? I'm thinking a decal might be better, but maybe not.
That is your front torsion diff causing that. I got an 800A and purposefully left it off (I had it on my 2017) because I did not like how it felt. Definitely important to have for off-road use, but not necessarily needed for the streets.
It was an honest mistake for which the dealer is liable, but I strongly disagree with going for a kill. He needs to be made whole which includes fixing the repairs, rental car, paying for depreciations, etc..., but trying to unjustly get rich, if that is what you meant, is not right.
Why would you file a claim with your insurance company? They are liable, have insurance, and will take care of the damage. That said, make sure they not only fix it to your satisfaction, but they also need to compensate you for the extra depreciation that a wrecked car has when you resell it.
You made me laugh!!!! I am from Cincinnati. While I root for the Bengals, until they get things worked out, orange and black will make me ill even though that combination can look pretty sharp.
I love your plan to pay back the loan and cancel the warranty ASAP, but as stated, definitely read the fine print to see how quickly you can pay off the loan and see how much you will get back, if any at all, if you cancel the warranty at the earliest possible convenience.
I reread your post and your wording is much better than my reading comprehension. You got it right!!!! My apologies!!!!! I personally like the additional lift of the Geiser springs and wish I could sit even higher, but you got it right. :)
All posts I have read indicate the opposite of what you said about Geiser and Eibachs. The Geiser springs, which I have, definitely lift the truck more than 1.7". The Eibachs according to other posts have less lift.
Seems to me like you are going to experience one year of depreciation really fast just to have a truck a few months earlier. Five years from now, your 2021 will definitely be worth a lot less than a 2022 even though you only had it a few extra months. I would hold off and make sure what I got...
I was not able to tell any discernable difference. I believe the load range on the 37s is stiffer than the 35s, so you gain some extra sidewall, but it is stiffer.
I 100% agree with you. My daughter had a volleyball tournament about 2 hours from where I live and the drive home was painful. My trip was much earlier in the day on Sunday and the traffic was really light, but the number of people driving in the high speed lane holding up traffic for no reason...
