If I'm interpreting correctly, you're just looking to put the HIDs from the '13 into the '12? If so, Morimoto makes a plug and play adapter.

The Braptor was a fair deal for $68k at release. But as you said, Ford has increased the price massively, and even if you can score one without ADM, $86k is a tough pill to swallow for an SUV that is significantly less practical than the F-150.
They are incredible off-road though and if I could...
I'm pretty excited for the reveal. Really hoping they'll offer the Ranger with a 35PP, similar to the 37PP on the F-150. Looks like the ZR2 Bison is going to ship with 35's so it would be wise for Ford to compete. I'll also be interested to see how it compares with the new Tacoma.
I'm currently...
Don't know, but it would probably look goofy even if it did. The Gen 1 valance is flat across the bottom. The Gen 3 isn't, so you'd end up with large/inconsistent gaps. The lower grill pattern will also be different than the main grill. Maybe that wouldn't bother you though.
Can you imagine all the cool shit we'd get if engineers actually got to make the decisions? It definitely wouldn't be a sustainable business model though. Your statement is true for all vehicle manufacturers, and pretty much every other large corporate setting.

I understand where the frustration comes from, I'm just saying this feels like more of a "poor" experience vs. something I would describe as "horrible."
I also never claimed it was good customer service. Re-read my post.

Slow customer service and poor inventory management but you got your money back. I wouldn't consider that a horrible experience worth a forum post. Time to try another vendor.
I've had these shocks installed since about November with OTS gen 2's in the rear. Stock springs all around. It's definitely more comfortable on-road than before. I think offroad is also slightly improved as it seems to soak up big stuff better than before. Overall I feel they're a decent...
Looking to order this color when the '24 order banks open up. This thread has convinced me that IS shows the body lines much better than the other choices. Silver always hides swirls and scratches quite well which is also a major plus.
Cleaned up the throttle body and MAF sensor as well as new intake filter. Next up: Spark plugs and trans fluid/filter. Not looking forward to those plugs!
