    Possible Raptor R Spy pics.

No, he's with Audi these days and running a WRC i20 in the ARA. Actually, I think I saw something from him regarding the TRX a little while back.

The right way to install GEN 2 Shocks on a GEN 1!

From Mikra's website: "Front shock package is recommended to be paired with a set of Rear Fox Factory 3.0″ Piggyback Internal Bypass Shocks – Ford/Fox PN. HL3V-18W003-CB."

    SVT Raptor oil change

I went to the Quick Lane at my local Ford dealer. They did the synthetic blend oil change, tire rotation, and new air filter for about $90 which I though was fair enough. Without the air filter it would have been about $65. That being said, once if I have a house I will probably start doing it...

GEN 2 What else is in your garage?

I've got a Fiesta ST to go with my first gen. Still trying to acquire the garage sadly. Oh and a matching Trek Marlin 8. :Big Laugh:

Mystery grinding noise after cold start

Sorry for reviving an old thread. I recently picked up a 2014 and have been hearing this exact sound. Did anybody ever get down to the root cause?

    GEN 3 Raptor Swap - Houston/Dallas/EastTx area

Yeah, I can't think of any scenario where you would want to ceramic coat before PPF.

The right way to install GEN 2 Shocks on a GEN 1!

Anybody with these installed have updates/comments on how these are holding up? I'm about ready to pull the trigger but looking to see if there's any additional feedback to consider.

New Gen. 1 Owner in Michigan

Had the truck out in its first snow. Probably 4" of fresh powder on the unplowed county roads. That was way too fun!

New Gen. 1 Owner in Michigan

I don't have any previous experience with rust-proofing but I've read a lot of promising things so I'm hoping this will keep the corrosion at bay for a couple years at least. I totally get parking it through the winter and am tempted to do the same but I think I am going to sell my current daily...

    Just Got Her Home!

Congrats, I just bought one over the weekend too! Where about in WI are you? I recently moved to Michigan but spend a fair amount of time back home in the Fox Valley area.

New Gen. 1 Owner in Michigan

How's it holding up to Michigan? When it comes time for shocks I'm thinking about going this route as it seems like the most cost-effective way to bump up to 3.0's.

New Gen. 1 Owner in Michigan

No, I wish. That was the truck getting coated at Motor City Rustproofing. Someday I'll have a lift in my garage but that's years down the road!

New Gen. 1 Owner in Michigan

Thanks for the info, I was aware of the 3rd brake light issues but I will have to look into those other items. Did you have your truck undercoated? I'm hoping to get a few years of rust-free daily usage out of it before it's retired to a weekend truck.

New Gen. 1 Owner in Michigan

Hey guys! I joined the forum over 7 years ago but finally purchased my first Raptor over the weekend. I found this 2014 Blue Flame SCREW listed in Oklahoma with 1 owner and 53k miles and immediately contacted the dealer. Within a few days I flew down and drove it 1,100 miles back home to...

The right way to install GEN 2 Shocks on a GEN 1!

Hey Doug - When you mention the 5-6x life of your 3.0" package, does that apply to just the custom fronts? I would assume the stock Gen. 2 rears would still need to be rebuilt at the normal service interval?

New Member from the Upper Peninsula

Hey guys! I don't own a Raptor yet, but I plan on purchasing one shortly after graduating in a few years. I've been a huge fan of the Raptor for about three years now, and this weekend I had an awesome opportunity to talk to 50+ owners during the SnoBall 500 rally. One of the guys recommended...
