I think you are correct, Ram has forced their hand. When Ram released the TRX with literally A TREX dinasour eating a Raptor embroidered on the seats... it was game on! No choice. In regards to this new video in this thread, that is no V6. No way. That is an 8.

This is very good news. Very interested in seeing the new V8 Predator powered Raptor.

My Alpha powered GTR is a 3.8 Twin Turbo with a straight catless 4” exhaust and it does not sound like that. This particular clip sounds like a V8. I am not sure why so many people are in disbelief that Ford is putting a supercharged V8 in the Gen 3 Raptor. I mean why not.

Mine was a 2013 C63. I had the Eurocharged tune making around 550 HP. The sound was incredible and it was quick. Are you looking at getting into a McLaren or GTR?

Yes, scrap the Twin Turbo 3.5 as it is way underpowered, and exclusively offer the GEN 3 Raptor with a 700-750 HP boosted V8. It is good to see the confirmation of the GT500 engine going in the 2022.

That is where I am at. The new Raptor has to fight back with the 760 HP GT 500 motor. Don’t waste time with a little 500 HP hybrid set up, I have no interest in that. I will be selling my current Gen 2 Raptor at that point and moving on from Ford if they do that.
