Thanks, did you need to cut or trim anything for the BFG 37's or run them as is. I have 2" of lift over stock up front. Would that clear these with moderate to heavy off roading ?
Is the stage 2 for the Gen 2 bolt on, or does it need to be welded ? Just picked up some Kings and Icon UCA's. This may be the answer to the alignment getting creamed every time we beat on em.
Stock 2017 Gen 2 leaf springs with about 20k road miles on them. I changed to Icon leafs and want them out of my garage. They are cosmetically perfect. I have both leafs, the 2" blocks and U-bolts.
Sale price 300.00 obo
Located in So Cal, trying to avoid shipping as they are friggen heavy.
I know this thread is 2 years old, but your probably just the guy to ask. I just ordered Kings for my Gen 2. What can you tell me know that you've had them on your truck a few years.
Yes I found by fixing the leaf problem in the rear and adding the bumps, I was able to handle batter in the dirt. The first time I took the truck out stock, I thought something was wrong, the ass end was all over the place. Felt like I was on ice. It actually scared the shit out of me. This...
Nice. I went with ICON leafs and ICON bumps first. Havent touched the shocks yet other than a RPG collar. When im in the desert, sometimes its hard for me to tell in a big truck which is working harder the front or rear
When it comes to the front suspension and rear suspension.
If you could only choose one, would you upgrade the front or rear first.
Second, which works harder in the desert when your plowing through the rough stuff
Thought it would be a fun little weekend discussion piece.
Im looking for Fox, King, Icon or ADS front shocks. Most people on here are selling in combo with rears, just need fronts for now. Ill update if I hit the lottery and can do both.
Quick question for Gen 2, at the bottom you state you need to run after market UCA's for this. Im confused are you referencing the bolt on kit, or the skid plate ? From the pics, it only looks like it effects the LCA mounts. Am I missing something ? BTW, the part looks amazing and is on the...
All Gen 2 Raptors rear leaf springs suck. Mine kicked out and jumped all over. Changed to ICON leafs, which removes the rear block and added the ICON bump stops and it handles like a dream now. Actually makes me notice the front falling behind now. I could not be happier with my rear ICON...
