Are you running stock wheels or aftermarket? Most aftermarket wheels are lug centric and you can have issues with lug centric and how centered they are on the hubs. I ran Centerline Racing wheels on a Tahoe and after a year of fighting with vibration I had a shop machine them for hub rings and...
I was out with 4 jeeps a few weeks ago and one of the jeeps got themselves stuck in a way that could almost only be solved with a hi-lift. It might have been possible to pull him but linking 4 recovery straps and the winch on my truck but we would have shredded the poly rope on my winch. We...
The fuse box must he high resistance for that circuit. Amazing that this isn't a recall. Has anyone heard more details on the exact failure in the box? Maybe a connection between the wires and the fuse terminals for #27 that gets corroded?
For sale, the front shocks from my 2013 SCAB. I pulled them at 1,100 miles to put on the RPG Fox 3.0 system. They have been sitting in my garage ever since. Like new condition. $500 if picked up in the Phoenix area.
Sadly I have a really nice 2013 SCAB with no extra lighting. All the real men have enough lighting for night runs and I have none  I have to go home early and they get to keep playing well past dusk. The Baja Designs XL Pro's would look amazing on the hood.
I guess it depends on what you do and how you drive. I have a 2013 with RPG rear springs, and RPG Fox 3.0 coil overs in front. Just went out with a bunch of guys to play in the river beds near Phoenix. There were a few places where the sand was deep and I could have used more power but for...
I put a winch on my Raptor. All of the mounts I researched fit behind the opening in the bumper. I don't think placing below the bumper would make sense as you would severely reduce your clearance. Most want to go the other way and trim the frame horns to gain clearance.
I've read...
Search the site here some more. Someone posted on replacing them. Looks like a pain. they are double stick tape attached and also held by the rubber strip. If I recall they were like $100 each or so. Mine are all scratched up from offroading. When I decide to spruce up the truck I'll just...
I only commute 3 miles each way. I typically get 12.3 MPG around town with a mix of mostly 50 MPH suburban streets and a bit of freeway driving. I get 13 or so when driving 80 MPH on the to the mountains and back. I don't drive crazy and I've never seen 15 MPG with my 2013.
Not many people talk about the on street handling of the Raptor. I went from driving 7-series BMWs for 14 years to the Raptor. We had GMC Yukon Denali XLs for my wife over that same time frame. The turn-in on the Raptor is so much better than the Denali. Yes there is a ton of body roll but...
The stock wheels are like $1800 each. If insurance is covering make them pay the full stock price. All body shops have the price list. The Ford racing is a true beadlock and if I remember correctly they are not DOT approved for on road use.
I chased and chased this on mine. Try torquing the bolts that mount the rear leaf springs to the frame. I ended up using red loctite as mine kept coming loose on the passenger side.
Here is the thread I started...
I have fronts from a 2013 taken off with 1,000 miles on the truck to install RPG 3.0s. They are in Phoenix. Shipping would be some $$$, might be 100 lbs
