We owned a ton GM suburban and Denali XLs and they were solid but we never owned them for more than 18 months. I drive a ton of GM cars as rentals and they are overall way below the imports. We drove a ton of Dodge min- vans as company cars and they broke all the time under warranty.

Anyone know where this rubber cover goes? I had an annoying noise from something rolling around inside my truck. Tooks the console out this am and found this trapped between the console housing and the flow through duct. I also found a shift bolt I lost there two years ago :)
I use this on or one similar

I started with stock suspension. I could go maybe 10 mph on a particular section of rough desert trail before the rear end started to bottom out. I was concerned about bending the frame so I contacted RPG to ask about their frame reinforcement and bumper system intending to order. They...
I'm in Arizona and we've done a few short trips at Sunrise in the summer. Nothing too crazy because a breakdown in summer WOULD NOT BE FUN. Starting at Sunrise (5:30am) and ending by 10am or so is doable.
Mine ended up being a loose bolt that mounts the passenger rear spring to the front spring mount. Took forever. There is also a cast iron damper on top of the drivers side rear frame near the tailgate. Some have reported that the rubber mounts deteriorated and the damper squeaked.
Yes, it was a hit and run. It was not there when I did some work on the truck. I ran a few errands and the next morning safely parked in the driveway the damage was there. Must have happened in one of the store parking lots.bv
Somebody scraped their white car against the front passenger bumper and fender flair. I was able to straighten the bumper out by hand and I had a 3M chip shield film on the bumper and it looks like all the damage to the bumper is on the film which is easy to replace.
I would like to replace...
I have not played with my truck so I have no direct advice. It does sound like a rear end sounds like when adjusting the shims when there is no gear oil. I would not say normal.
I had a mirror memory problem that ended up being a bent pin in connector a wiring harness under the carpet. Dealer replaced the mirror, and a control system before they found the bent pin. The mirror would store a setting and 4 out of 5 times it would work correctly but about 1 out of 5 times...
Does anyone know why this is happening? Are the socket pins too sloppy causing arcing and heating? If that's the case, why only fuse #27? It's really hard to understand why this isn't a recall item. Certainly looks like a fire hazard.
A long time ago I buffed some lug nuts to make sure they were clean then I used a black oxide kit to make them black. the kit was like $40 on ebay. Works great on steel.
Are you running stock (hub centric) wheels or aftermarket (lug centric)? Wheels are absolutely centered on the hub with hub centric and they may or may not be with lug centric.
