Ford really should’ve bumped up the horsepower a tad to make the 37s not sluggish compared to the 35s. This is the first review that’s really making me consider the 35 truck more. Thanks for sharing
As a former tundra owner who is inbetween trucks, I’ll give my two cents on why I’m going raptor over TRX. I’ve researched both extensively.
I’m not a hardcore off-roader like rock crawling and such. I like to have fun in desert environments here in Phx and drive 2 hours north to the pine trees...
Dude enjoy your TRX. It’s a great vehicle until it starts falling apart on ya. Go read all the **** that is passing QA on those trucks right now. It’s nuts. Whatever truck I go with will be my toy and daily (even thought I don’t commute to work in it). I factor everything in. Gas, insurance...
Has anybody legitimately asked Ford why the hell they went to that blue interior as the only option on the 37?
like I can’t think of any reason to do it that way other than Recaro had an oversupply of blue materials and they cut a massive deal with Ford?
Being on a list and putting a deposit down in a build sheet are two different things. I asked him what a ballpark was and he didn’t answer the question. But yes, to your point I’m definitely confirming price before I put a deposit down to a dealer 12 hrs away…..
I got on their list. It was 12 deep. Their low allocation numbers mean I’ll probably get a truck in like 2025? But we haven’t discussed price or anything yet (Matt).
That’s fair. After watching his video I just figured he knew a hell of a lot more on Raptors than me. Let’s just hope the Ford engineers know what they are doing.
Appreciate the feedback in here. I’ve never had a truck with 37s which is why I was curious.
I’m starting to think however, do I even need 37s for what im going to be doing with my Rap. That ugly blue interior might be enough to make my decision for me……
100%. Lucky for me, I’m about 6-8 months from ordering a Rap. I’m out on the TRX. 8-9 MPG and $250/month for insurance is just too much to bear to deal with the Ram issues that they have.
I’ll sit on the sidelines and watch the car market and hopefully I can order one in about 3 months to...
