Just chatted with my FIL who works at a Toyota dealership. He said the salesmen are doing just fine selling everything at sticker. Yeah they aren’t selling as many vehicles every month, but the MSRP deals are supplementing it
My truck just arrived at the dealership, picking it up tomorrow, i have a short video to hold me over.https://videos.covideo.com/videos/138728_43136_w0ylgynl2v1631907341.mp4
blows my mind guys have had orders in since June and you just randomly walk in a buy one. Which state? Small town dealer?
Not only are they making money on sticker, but they also get the holdback and all the other money the manufacturer gives them. Really tired of hearing how sticker is a deal
While I agree with you, I’m just going off of experience. I’ve owned Toyota’s and Honda’s all my life with a couple domestics mixed in, but never a Ford. I’m a huge believer that if you take care of your vehicles, they will take care of you- no matter the brand.
Same. Except former tundra owner. I’m ready to deal with a little less reliability and a little more tech and capability. But the fact I only drive about 6000 miles/year, I’m not too concerned.
I like your optimism for summer 2022. That’s what I’m hoping for. On the list for a 22 as well. Dealer only sells at MSRP. Have never added on ADM on vehicles and never will. All of their 21 orders rolled over to 22, so who knows how long I’ll have to wait
So now I have to get a leaky moonroof for $1900 to get the power tailgate? Who makes theee decisions? Seriously.
Just shows nobody was ordering the moonroof…..
Ya know, the more I think about it, the more I’m actually looking forward to the blue interior. We’ve all been doing black interior since the beginning of time. Will be a nice change. Can’t wait to see it in person
