Thank you. This is the post that got me for sure. I'll be looking into the max coverage for 8 years, 150k. There is a lot more that can go wrong on this truck than my 14-year-old Wrangler. lol
I just did the 4 tire rotation for this time, and when my new wheels come in, I can have the tire shop that's installing them add a TPMS (I'll check the frequency before I order) along with the balance.
Just need the clarification on the front jack point......
What jack point are you using? The frame where the arrow is doesn't lift the tire, just lifts the frame up and the tire stays on the ground. Do I need a taller jack to get the tire to come off the ground? I was looking at a Pro Eagle but didn't want to drop $600. I saw a video where they used...
Ok, I see what I was doing wrong. I wasn't clicking on the link to "see the brochure." That seems to be much more updated than just clicking on the components themselves. Thanks. Anyone know who is cheaper? Flood or Granger? Do either take the ford pass points and then a credit card for the...
Anyone running a 5 tire rotation? I went to do this today and noticed that the spare is not balanced, and it doesn't have a TMPS in it. You would have to correct these two small problems first before running the 5 tire. Just curious what everyone is doing? I just purchased new wheels that are on...
lol great question and doubtful. In fact they will probably just go up in price each quarter and it takes about a month to get one since they are made after you place the order.
How did you land on the 7 year 100k mark? Maybe I should just be downgrading from 150k? Just curious how other people are thinking on this one before I pull the trigger.
The Premium care only extra covers Emissions, Audio and Safety. Here in CA we get a state law of 7 years on emissions or at least the CAT and not o2 sensors but they are easy to change out. Audio, I guess could be big but is that the touch screen nav system or is that under "high tech"? For...
I'm looking to get the flood ford extended warranty. I plan on keeping the Raptor for as long as possible and will put plenty of miles on it. I'm down in Baja finally with it. I was waiting for my plates to come in. The 8 year 150k $200 deductible category is my choice. It almost doesn't seem...
I got mine plus a screen protector, but didn't install it yet. There is a youtube video with a discount code

This video has a coupon code for a few $$ off
Thank you both for some great info. I just got the plates in the mail so it’s first Baja trip is next week to take a new refrigerator to my house as my other one finally broke.
I said I would never put another set of windshield brackets on another truck ever again because the metal on metal...
I’m looking for as much light as possible since my vehicle lives part time actually in Baja. On my old vehicle (Jeep wrangler) I had two Rigid floods mounted on the windshield bracket. This gave a huge amount of light and I could see everything I needed. Would 3 lights but located in the fog...
I’ve looked into this quite a bit and have found that warm water and a little dish soap on a slightly damp rag seems to work best on everything. No chemicals no problems.
I drove cross-country to get my Gen 3 and when driving back I was able to stop at a Costco and put 91 in the entire way home. Had it all planned out on the route, and it cost me about $800 total to go from the Atlantic to pacific. If cost is an issue, I'd say costco is the way to go.
