I'm still at in my head 8 years 150k miles for $3375. Each time I move from that I screw myself up even more. The 8 years 125k for $2215 is also tempting.
It's tough to drop $500 plus on a jack, but I can't imagine getting a flat tire off-road or on the side of a dangerous road and using the standard jack that comes with the truck. I also do my own tire rotations, so I will definitely need something since my craftsman 2 ton isn't able to lift high...
I was just shopping my extended warranty prices and noticed that Flood Ford updated the website and goes all the way up to 175k and 10 years. I'm set on getting premium care which would cover almost everything but I'm tempted to go to 150k. What did you guys buy? This is somewhat of a duplicate...
I guess problem might not be the correct word but issue is definitely there and many Gen 2 owners report exactly what you are describing above. My dad's gen 2 was pretty bad. I know there was a TSB out for it and a reprogram of the transmission but if this is supposed to be happening and...
Mine isn't daily either. I am starting to look at the RPM's and if the vehicle is on a cold or hot engine. This was a huge problem with the Gen2's. It would almost give you whiplash. I was so impressed how the Gen 3 didn't have this issue until around the 5k mark and then it started to happen.
This exactly. You get to a stop sign and the tranny clunks/hard shifts. It was real bad in the Gen 2. Strangely I didn’t have it at first and now with 7500 I’ve got it.
I contacted Ford Corporate and got nowhere. It is no help contacting Ford Corporate in my opinion. They just tell you that the dealerships are independently owned and they can't get in the middle. This was in June/July. Maybe things have changed now.
Thanks for this info. One last question, are most people disconnecting the fog light switch and rewiring so that it uses the up fitter switches? This way all aftermarket lighting is in one centralized location? For example, removing the fog lights and putting them into Aux 1 and starting from...
I’m torn between this setup and the Baja designs triple pro kit. That kit has 2 of the bigger square lights and then one smaller one while the setup in this post has 3 of the big square lights. Excuse the lack of terminology. But just curious if 3 of these are brighter than 2 and one smaller...
Mobile 1 full synthetic is cheapest at Walmart and Costco. At Walmart I purchased 6 of the 5 quart jugs which is enough for 5 oil changes. The filters are $4.50 on rock auto so I got 10 of those (motorcraft). Doing it myself an oil change is about $28 each for full synthetic. If you notice also...
Located in Orange County CA. I have a set of 5 2022 Gen 3 Raptor Wheels. You get all 5 wheels, all lug nuts, all tire valves. Brand-new take-offs with no damage or scratches. Does not include TMPS sensors.
Best offer come and get them.
Yep this. Bait as many hooks as you can. One of them has to get a hit. Good luck. I’d be very cautious of any dealer saying MSRP. Those days seem to be gone until more production comes up. People just made $$ on housing and low interest rates and they have money to burn on ADM’s
AG was my first choice but wasn't available in 22. OW was second, followed by LG. I'm glad I didn't go gray on this truck. The popping of dark trim and light color is my favorite. Especially with a dark set of wheels. You can’t go wrong if the choice still has Raptor in it. You will love the...
I'm looking more into a https://vaulteksafe.com/ than the console safe. I was looking to mount one of these where the tire jack goes behind the rear seat. I'll post pictures when I get it together.
So I got my methods mounted and balanced and when we went to do the 5th, his machine didn't detect the TPMS to program it. When searching through manually, it didn't have a 2022 Ford Raptor. I am assuming that the TPMS tool didn't have the latest update?
Did you actually throw a code for this? Or was it just running rough? I have a very slight rough idle at stop lights. Its either a vacuum leak or an plug/coil issue.
Yes with the unit plugged in you can do auto start. You can leave it plugged in 99% of the time if you want and when you know the truck is in an area where theft is possible take it out.
Great question. It wasn't a COVID error in the build. The dealer says it doesn't come with one from the factory and it isn't balanced. I am trying to figure out if I should throw $50 to see if the TPMS sensor works in the rotation or just forget about it and I have a spare 5th wheel that matches...
Is this currently working on a Gen 3 raptor? or is yours a 2020? I just got my 5 wheels in the mail today and I want to get them mounted and balanced and order the TPMS sensor. Want to double check before I order the TPMS sensor that the 5 tire rotation is working and the vehcile automatically...
I’ve put 226k miles on my wrangler, and more than half were real Baja miles. If you are doing tight trails and rock crawling, the jeep is the way to go. Anything else, it's the Raptor. I couldn't be more happy with my new Gen 3. Got mine for $32k out the door in 2008. I could never imagine...
