In my opinion it helps deflect a bit of wind when the windows all the way down so it's not as turbulent in the cab. You are correct in that they won't stop rain from coming in if the window is lower than the visor. I use for venting on hot days or on rainy days when fresh air is preferred to...
I'm another that likes the stock exhaust sound and being able to hear the turbos spool up. I'm also one of the weird ones who hates the sound of a Harley. Too loud. I guess I'm getting old...haha
I just missed this by two weeks. Damn! Worth sharing for other though.

I 'd just buy the truck with the low end ones. For the cost of the upgrade for the beadlocks, you could go buy REALLY NICE new wheels and get the look you really want. Hell...if all you care about is looks you can probably find something in the $1,200 - $1,500 range and not worry about the...
Correct....the only plastic ones are the tiny ones on the center cap itself. The two of them that are real are the ones that the center cap sticker has arrows pointing to.
I am too! The Discount Tire manager begged me to come in for pictures...I told him once it was clean....haha. Yesterday I stopped in for new center cap stickers and let him have his pics.
I went with the Console Vault and the 4-digit combo. I had a Console Vault in my last truck too. Very happy with them.

Sorry if it’s been asked a million times, any news on the release date of the DOT approved fog lights? I know it was supposed to be soon.
I’m waiting impatiently to order...haha.
I just pulled a set of 20" Black Rhino Razorbacks off mine that came with it when I bought it. They are a +12mm offset. They have 35x12.5x20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on them. No problems with fit. It has Icon collars to leveling, but at the lower setting.
I put 17" Black Rhino Armory's on it...
Thanks man! Yeah...I was originally going to go with 18's, but they were out of stock across the country. Discount Tire told me that TSW actually makes these wheels for Black Rhino and that Black Rhino didn't even know when they would get more in. Overall I'm glad I stuck with the 17's...
Thanks for the great write up. My lady and I are considering getting the Airstream Sport in the 22ft configuration with a max weight of 4,500 lbs. I have a 2018 with stock suspension on it now and am wondering with your experience if you think it will handle it? Maybe just the weight...
I've been running GoodYear Wrangler Duratracs for about the last 10 years on various trucks and absolutely love them. They are an AT/MT hybrid and very low road noise. They are soft though and I usually replace them every two years with about 32,000 miles on them. My 2018 Raptor that I bought...
Wow...I've been using Discount Tire for 15 years and they even just mounted new wheels and tires for me this week. They have never done that to me. Their standard has always been 35 psi unless I have asked for different.
Don't bother asking about everyone else's mileage. To many factors can make it vary. Measure them. They come new with 14/32nds of tread. I typically replace my tires when they hit 5/32nds, but you can go lower depending on driving conditions. Once you have a baseline as to how much they are...
Another alternative and just as high quality IMHO, but half the cost:

I couldn't do that shiny finish on the RAs either. Just a nope for me.
