Agreed entirely. It’s actually pretty sad to watch as well from both sides. It’s like arguing a point with most liberals anymore. You let them get their word in and when you try to make a valid point they get butt hurt and lash out. That = FRF anymore.
I had a Gen1, and I have a Gen2. Biggest...
This is a round trip from southern (Ft. Huachuca, AZ) to Phoenix. Actual mileage of that trip is....well it's a lot. Anyways I was able to get 19.7MPG with it locked to 8th gear. This particular route is hilly for a good portion of it, and the driver's in this state don't like to keep consistent...
It most definitely is. He had mentioned your last name and making a comparison to your username I figured it was you. Not to mention, you're the only other blue raptor around the area. He mentioned a week or two ago it had been brought it to get tinted.
So you're actually going a bit darker...
Well, a few more modifications done with. Bakflip G2 came in and is installed. Unfortunately, no pictures as it decided to downpour as I was finishing up.
But, thanks to the wife and the daughters, I have two more "modifications" out of the way. A Canyon Cooler 35qt that they decided to...
I’m not entirely sure why everyone automatically jumps to white smoke being a turbo failure.
More often than not, a blueish hue to smoke means oil is burning. White more often than not is just coolant/water/condensation. If it smells sweet, coolant. Black is excess fuel.
Now this isn’t ALWAYS...
That's what I get for doing what the wife wanted first. Missed out on the sale by about 15 minutes.
UPDATE: Dan at Adams is awesome. He was able to honor a discount even though I forgot to use the Raptor code. Probably the best customer service I’ve seen in a long time.
Anyways, purchase...
Much appreciated. I will say, the color is definitely growing on me more and more each day.
15%? I was figuring it was something like that. To be honest, after looking at the photos, the tint looks quite a bit darker than it does in person. In person you can see right into the cab.

Mine seems to alert primarily when I am actually giving the vehicle gas and someone slows/pulls out in front of me.
If I'm coasting I've only had it go off once when someone pulled out in front of me.

The wife drove the truck to the work yesterday, so she was all up for doing this while "stock" was stuck in her head. If she wants to help on modifications I'm all for it...
Anyways, I ended up using Kilmat (I had a crap ton of ebay bucks so it was basically free) and it made a huge difference...
The wife and I recently picked up our 2018 Raptor from Phoenix. Initially wanted to go with a white SCREW but the blue just completes the whole "shock and awe" package. This truck is replacing our 2012 Race Red Screw.

1.) Yes. Used to own nothing but sports cars. Definitely not the typical sports cars that everyone around here has. Last car before the Raptor's was a '95 Thunderbird Supercoupe. Came from the factory with a 3.8L Supercharged motor. Needless to say, the motor wasn't stock for long. 4.2L stroker...
Alright, so I recently picked up the raptor from the dealership so I'm just now delving into this. One thing I failed to see mentioned is, has anyone actually taken a look at the knock sensors?
I’m beginning to wonder if maybe we have super sensitive knock sensors? The reason I bring this up...
Truck was traded into Lawley Ford located in Sierra Vista, AZ for $49K today. She will most definitely be missed.
Eventually, you may see me around with a Gen2.

I experienced this issue a few times in Texas. I don't buy the dust theory as they worked fine after Raptoborfest and TRR.
I recently moved to Arizona and it's been happening every day, and sometimes a few times each day. It's really frustrating when my wife is driving and has our child in the...
