They can make any size ohv v8 out of any material. Im still shocked to find out the 3.5 has a plastic oil pan?! Seems like the powerstroke gets a power bump every couple years*. 7 year old engine and a gen 3.5 outta no where coulda used a power bump
I know at least 2 people maybe a third who are sol to get fixed. As far as i know owners needed to get their trucks fixed by jan 1, 2023 and it was prorated by mileage. Then a lot of people who did get it done had the same junk phasers replaced so they will have problems again and definitely...
The 3.5 is getting long in the tooth. Hopefully they at least bump up the power or go another direction with a v8 ohv. There a bunch of suvs and cars with more power
I think it has more to do with the trans, then the 6.2 isnt much of tuner engine and a sohc at that. If the 6.2 was in a mustang then it would be a different story. Look at the 5.0 now, slap a SC on it and its an "R"
