I have 2 inches of clearance all around w/ my 37s, I could see trimming needed w/ 39s but these aren’t gen 1/2 fenders/wheel wells so probably same effort as 37s were on gen2s
That sounds about right. When I raised it I scootched it back about 1/2 inch to center it. It wanted to touch the link in front naturally just raising it from the ground.
I was expecting something to block it. Especially when they said you do not get the full size 37 spare if you go 35 from...
FYI here's the weight of stock wheels w/ 35 vs 37.
w/ 35' = 103.1 lbs
w/ 37's = 101.6 lbs.
Scale might be off but the difference might be useful.
Wasn't expecting drop in weight but the 315/70/17's are wider so maybe explains it.
35's
37's
Should have pics of the spare location later today with measurements for anyone looking.
Spare tire location Front to back clearance is 37 1/2
The difference in the 37 chassis might be at the side by side contact point in center of this screenshot (from a 37 review video by

From my experience what matters most is wheel offset. The same tire can go from zero rub to major rubbing on wheels alone (personal experience). e.g. I can go 37x13.5 on the stock wheels or rubbing w/ 37x12.5/27 on 0 offset wheels.
I think what's also important is these are not gen2 fenders /...
I noticed the door seal on the rear passenger side door that is parallel with front door makes a noise like that. On my truck it was sliding up and down. Also sometimes the front passenger could be leaving the seatbelt stuck between seat instead of hanging flush. That also makes a thumping noise.
Zero rubbing across entire range with a 2” gap at it’s closest position bumper or chassis.
Going to get on a flex ramp soon and will post more detail.
Ride has a little more cushion which was the point (more sidewall).
No change in feel/power (1.5lbs difference in tires helps)
Very Slight...
Lots of speculation / feedback on if 37's would fit. Thought i would share some pics/info on my install.
- Stock truck, no suspension changes.
- No clearance issues, full lock each direction has a minimum of 2" clearance even at closest position to any chassis/fender.
- Full size Ford Forged...
Ok, lots of discussion and feedback. Just installed 37's, more info in my thread

Happen to have any info on the taller ride height suspension components in the 37” pkg and how it was accomplished? Or maybe he was just referring to tires alone.. but sounded like there may be different suspension components besides shocks.
Mentioned here by a Ford engineer.
Pics of my 37's...
Sounds like the motor was protected and I’m sure they will sort it out - let that warranty do the work, an amazing truck will be ready for you soon again
