I’ve had mine for about 5 years now, it’s been through tons of beach salt and ****** NY winter roads it’s still ain’t rusted out and intact. They’re over-built, I highly recommend them
What would you do and use to polish them up ?
The passenger side cover is definitely a rougher cast than the driver’s and needs refinishing in some areas
Got my aluminum cam covers from Tasca delivered yesterday. Now I’m off to find a good powder coater for some Ford blue. Springtime project,
P.S. I can’t live without remote start either but I do hesitate some days because I love to hear that cold start from my 12” dirty deeds lightning style...
Well that answers that, yeah kinda figured it wouldn't be easy and I'm 6' with short legs lol. I may just take them off anyhow but temporarily, to tend to the rockers and get the boards re coated- they're peeling bad underneath. I don't drive her much these days anyway.
Looks good, this is my next mod to delete the running boards. My rockers need some attention, i figure taking off the boards would help facilitate that work and I've always liked how the trucks look without them.
How is it getting into the truck without the step? and no driver's grab bar
Bump ! Just ordered these from Tasca, gonna hold onto them for now and coat and install them down the road. Lots of good information in this thread, thank you!
Give him a call on the number I gave you, he’s still around and working out of his home. Guy is totally legit and knows his way around these trucks as good as anyone. You can search some of the compliments on the forum here from when he had his shop. I drove 2 hours each way from NY a couple of...

I’ve been running my pedal commander for years and coupled with a tune no less. Never a problem, works great, but I only use it when in soft sand on the beach. Which it comes in very useful there. Otherwise it was fun for all of a minute on the street.
Anyhow, I regret using the Raptor as a...
Thank you, I appreciate your response. I see now the tools you're referring to. I'm not sure about the grommet and I'm going to take a look there next I have a chance
Does anyone have any experience in changing out the E-brake shoes. When I swapped out my rear rotors last the original E-brake liners peeled right off their shoes; I hadn't used them in years. A friend who helps me wrench on the truck said there is a certain Ford tool to reach in there and...
Congrats [emoji1303] Nice photos ! I have a first Gen Supercab and a fourth generation Ranger. Reminds me I have to get a pic of them together. The Ranger is my daily and faster than the big truck lol.
