It’s a Zroadz bracket, had to modify it. Previous owner had it on his 2018, not sure if they changed the bumper mounting points for 19 but it’s too wide for this bar...

Changed the pan/filter and refilled at 78k. Fluid was black. Changed it again at about 81k because obviously I didn’t get everything out just by draining and filling. This improved the shifting a lot, but still not perfect and now having new, different issues. Using Valvoline ULV. @FordTechOne...

I love this truck. HATE this transmission. When its good, its great, but thats not very often. Used to hang and bang into gear when cold, thats subsided after a couple fluid changes (not flush), but still flares a bit in some gears (2-3, 4-5, 6-7, 9-10 is bad). Lately the most concerning thing...

I hesitate to call it grinding. More like growling from about 7mph to zero.

Should the solenoid be open, pulling vac, in 2wd?

I’ve been unable to investigate beyond the vacuum test, but if it’s holding vacuum, I’d assume the lines are good.

Did that. I have no vacuum in 2wd coming out of the brand new solenoid. I understand that for a couple miles it will remain disengaged, to warm up the front diff, however even when applying manual vacuum with the pump the front axles still turned. That’s where I’m stumped.

I believe the updated part has a blue check valve instead of white.

2019 Raptor - I read a few threads but haven’t found anyone actually manually applying vacuum to the IWE. First time I took the truck offroad it felt like it was pulling a lot to one side (I don’t remember which). I read this could be an IWE issue. I got busy and didn’t get back around to it...

Well no holes were drilled, but it’s done. What a PITA. So glad this is a one and done thing.

Waiting on my PPE trans pan, going to replace the gasket, filter, filter seal and obviously the pan. In order to keep the mess down I’m strongly considering drilling a 1/4” hole in the factory plastic pan right about where the center of the filter would be. Shouldn’t hurt anything right? ‍♂️
