Honestly I have come to the conclusion that every vehicle I own is a POS. Then after I sell it, looking back I think “what an awesome vehicle that was”. I feel that the enthusiast brain is so detail oriented that no vehicle exists that could possibly check every box.

Today I installed the Ford Performance Touring exhaust on my 2012 Raptor. Overall the job took about 3 hours and I did it completely by myself. I backed the truck up on ramps, lowered the spare tire ( did not have to remove) and removed the original exhaust tips and rear hanger. Those 4 things...

before I bought my GEN1 I considered a ranger raptor. they fit my mission fairly well except for the smaller backseat. With the markups going around that drive me nuts I’ll wait a few years. Cool trucks, though. Happy to see them perform.

I just discussed this recall with my local dealer and they said that if my truck hasn’t experienced any issues that I should consider NOT doing the reprogramming as it could “cause transmission problems”. What is the consensus? I was very surprised with the dealers response.
