Tuffy Box w/ OE Rear Floor Mat?

I got my tuffy installed today and used spacers to keep the front lip of the box up off the mats enough that they can be removed. Even with the spacers, the size of the mat makes it a PITA to install and remove with the box in there. It still might even be easier to remove the box to take...

What did u do to your raptor today?

Looks perfect! The red on the winch is a nice accent, it compliments the red on the hood and vice versa, without being too much. I love it!

That would work. But until someone updates post 1 nobody will read this far into it to find the new instructions. :(

Tuffy Box w/ OE Rear Floor Mat?

ok thanks. I'd like to be able to remove and clean those rear mats easily since I'll probably have the kiddos back there a lot in the winter. Someone mentioned possibly trying spacers under the Tuffy box to keep it off the floor a bit. I'm about to buy one of these, I might have to just wing...

Tuffy Box w/ OE Rear Floor Mat?

Hey, do you have pictures of what you mean? Are you talking about relief cuts in the edging of the mats to allow it to bend up without binding the edges of the mat? (yes, I realize this is an old thread, thought I'd bump rather than create new)

The life of my 2013 Black SuperCab

I have really been enjoying this truck. One of my first mods was to add the black mirror reflector lens covers Trying to work a deal on an extra set of shocks I can send in for rebuild and get them set for mid-perch. In the meantime, I decided to proactively tackle the fuse 27 issue, just...

What did u do to your raptor today?

Funny, I did the same thing yesterday :) Mine was totally fine but I don't mind spending $17 and a half hour of my time to make sure it never becomes an unexpected issue.

My first mod, yay! Black mirror lenses. And LED reverse and cargo lights too, I guess those count.

    Perch Mod Discussion

Today must be bad luck for people doing this mod. I had a hell of a time. I ended up removing the entire strut assembly because it turned out to be quicker and easier than fiddling with those damn compressors. Its only three more nuts (strut, tie rod, upper knuckle) and you can get it out.

    New owner: 2013 Black SCab

Thanks guys, I'm converted. I didnt expect the truck to be so special, but I love everything about it. The feel of sitting in the drivers seat and looking at those SVT gauges, the startup of the 6.2L with its growl and rumble, etc. Its just beast. And of course its a real head-turner too...

    Truck off to get Line-X

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but can you comment on what they charged you to do the rockers too? My local Line-x guy says $2900 to do my truck: Bed, front and rear bumpers, fender flares, rocker panels and about 3" up the doors.
