Wired up and ready for plug and play installation into a set of gen 1 HID headlight housings with the stock ballasts.
You'll need to bake open your headlights to swap these in.
More info on the projectors...
Anyone know if you can use the stock airbox with the whipple stage 2 supercharger?
The reason I ask is because when offroading I think the enclosed stock airbox would protect the filter from mud and water better.
And I wont be needing every last 1/4 hp out of the kit, I'd sacrifice...
I installed a used set of these HD springs on the truck today, and I love it. Truck rides awesome. I didn't realize how bad the stock springs were.
I gave them the por15 treatment first
I'm using the RPG shackles and on my supercab it raised the rear by 1". Here's the truck on mid perch...
Installed WSI HD rear leafs with the RPG shackles, I'm amazed at the difference. Truck is so solid over bumps, it just eats them up. The stock leafs on these trucks are NOT very good.
The HD leafs with RPG shackles on my supercab raised the rear by about 1"
Not sure how I feel about the...
Added some graphics to the truck bed
I really dig the "ghosted" look of the matte black on black. Tempted to do the hood decal too to tie it all in.
And I have a little something else in the works...

Por15 treatment:
There's a guy selling licensed graphics using 3M 1080 on ebay, I just installed a set today, they were $169 shipped for both rear bedside graphics. He uses the exact file from Ford, and they fit my truck perfectly
I received mine this week, and installed them yesterday. I had to grind down a small "rib" on the shank of my bed bolts to get the stock washer to slide off. Other than that, piece of pie.
Thank you OP! you Rock!
Looks like you might have to enlarge the bolt hole on those.
Finished up the radio install today.
This was tricky, getting these holes lined up. Its still not perfect but probably hard to tell. This is all you can see from outside the console, is two screw heads
And the radio is mounted inside.
Another phase of the radio install is done. Used a panel mount RJ45 jack and a proclips mount for the mic
And installed a $15 Tram dual band VHF UHF antenna just to get by for now, had great reviews on amazon
Completed the next phase of the install:
Used a panel mount RJ45 jack and a proclips mount for the mic. It clips into place, so no permanent drilling and i can remove it if I wont be using the radio for a while.
Ran the cat5 into the console for the radio
And mounted...
Time for an update
Went for a dirty muddy spring run with some of the Snoball guys, so much fun!
Decided to upgrade from the handheld radio to something proper, so I began by installing the bulletproof diesel third brake light NMO antenna mount
Ran the antenna coax...
Be prepared to be patient, and you're going to have to almost entirely dismantle your center console.
I had to remove the passenger seat (at least unbolt it and move it out of the way) so I could get enough slack in the carpet to run the antenna cable accross and up to the back of the...
Installed my antenna mount today, what a bitch that was. Getting under the carpet and into the console cleanly is a real challenge. But finally, after about 3 hours, I got it in.
Now I need to order a radio :)
And terminate my power and ground
And connect RJ45 jack to the side of...
The stock HID ballast mounts to the bottom of the OEM HID headlight and acts to "seal" the housing.
If I were to replace the projectors and upgrade to a 50w ballast, I'm not sure how I'll find a 50w ballast that "seals" to the bottom of the OEM HID headlight housing exactly the way the stock...
Dude, I took what was in the old thread, cleaned it up, compiled it, updated it, and posted it here. I thought I mentioned that in the first post. What you posted is old and incomplete.
