I am looking to procure a 2013 Roush SVT with 65k miles. The seller states it has a Stage 1 Roush package, which includes interior and exterior mods, supercharger and suspension, in addition to a winch.
Are these packages part of a Factory build? Should we be worried about procuring a truck...
so on that note, what states SHOULD you avoid? I have seen many SVTs coming out of Texas as auction vehicles. Low 50k miles, single owner, but spent it's life in Texas....
Guess if the truck is taken to a Ford dealership to be checked out, it is ok?
SOLD! APR it is. Thank you so much for posting pix. My Raptor is the same color as yours and that looks absolutely amazing!
Any issues with installation (ie broken clips, etc)?
Thank you! Even though this question is a sidebar, but what other mods did you do to your truck? May give me more...
In reviewing the threads, there appears to be 3 companies who provide CF hood vents and front fender vents for the Raptor:
Anderson Composites: https://andersoncomposites.com/collections/all/ford-raptor-2017--esr4382823
hood vent: $799
fender vent pr: $399
TOTAL: $1198
C7 Carbon...
Understood. How long did it take you guys to install the hood vent and fender vents? Also, did you break any clips? In other words, how straight-forward is the installation and should it be done by a professional who knows what they are doing?
Looks great! If I am located in San Diego, do you offer installation services as well? I understand removing the OEM hood vents and side vents is a difficult job because the clips are fragile.
JUST COMPLETED! No words can describe how INCREDIBLY AWESOME this school is. The trucks, the instructors, the events.....WOW!
If you have not reserved your spot, DO IT! You will not believe what these trucks are capable of.
HOLY SH$T! Do NOT miss out!!!!!!
I used the Rhino Rack RS648B Vortex 2500 RS Black on my 2019 Raptor. I got it from Amazon cuz less than going to Rhino Rack directly.
I have had no issues with it and it is a no-drill installation. Just remember to put in the rubber strips that come with it to cut down on the wind noise...
Anderson Composites has brought their lead time down to 9 weeks for the CF hood vent and side vents. SO, if you plan to order them, DO IT NOW! 4x4 shops are taking their inventory the second the parts come off the production line. I am now on the list and hope to have these parts sooner than...
Good Morning. What hardware did you use to program? I would like to purchase the same thing so when you program my truck, I will see how you do it and have the equipment in hand to change it back to stock if required.
Also, where did you find the list of all the items you can change? A few I...
I spoke about that with Anderson Composites. He said the plastic is fragile and could break if you aren't careful. I am using one of their installers to do the install. Can't afford to be breaking clips, the plastic or the CF.
Hi. I am definitely not mad. not at all. REALLY appreciate your opinion and expertise! I want the best for my truck and you just convinced me the extra $ is worth spending for APR since it is higher quality. Thank you!
but does it really matter? If I am just going for looks, what does it matter if it is C7 Carbon or APR? I mean, APR is over $700 more so what does that buy you?
I live in the Carlsbad area and travel to San Clemente quite often. Have you FORscan'd your truck? what unit should I purchase? I think it has to have memory so it saves my existing stock set-up?
