So the dealer called me and I talked to the supervisor and the lead tech. Both told me Ford is now telling them they are supposed to be performing the TSB I attached earlier as the correct one for IWE grinding. Despite it saying F150’s not including Raptors. They reached out to Ford this...

Here's what FordTechOne was referring too. As I figured, in this configuration the IWE are engaged at all times. This is for TOD transfer cases.
I assume you defeat the purpose of the drive modes selections when this IWE...
Is there some new work through or TSB that would make the tech not replace it the vacuum line
I was just getting ready to tag you @FordTechOne, because I was going to ask if there was a new work through or something.
It's a 2017.
Anyone got a quick picture of the check valve and connections coming off the brake booster? I can't even find the vacuum line that comes off the check valve. It must still be at the dealership. F...ing monkeys.
The grinding has stopped since there's no vacuum to the system so I assume the hubs have been in engaged the past week.
I hate the dealership too and just ordered my own vacuum tester. I have 2 spare iwe check valves already.
I went in for iwe intermittent grinding for the 4th time. This was done last week. I opened the hood today (should have double checked their work) and found this.
Only the front needs to be calibrated after adding springs. The rears "learn" off the fronts. If you did nothing to the front then there is nothing more for you to do.
No, they are not. Throw some weight back there a put a few miles on them to see if they settle. If not, add a 1” drop shackle and then you’ll have a 0.5” rake.
Define "burning". You mean you see smoke out your tailpipes or do you mean truck is using oil in some capacity? Some reasons I have seen.
1. Valve covers - see TSB
2. Timing chain cover leaked - happened to my 2017 and was fixed under warranty
If you aren't actually burning it your dealership...
I think prices in the midwest are much better. See the link. $64k for CPO 2019 802a crew cab with everything and only 18k miles.

Deleted out of mine too. I just dropped off at dealership for IWE’s. I was told only intervening if “concern” for cam phaser rattle on start up.
knock on wood I’m 72,000 miles.
I got it on my 2017 too. I go in to the dealer for presumed IWE intermittent grinding tomorrow so I will see what this recall is at the same time. I will let you know - need to reprogram stage 2 map fist.
I ran e30 for a bit before going to e50. It was a very noticeable increase in power/torque over my 91 stage 2 Goose map. Plus you won't have to mix and get fill right off the tap. I would do it in a hot second.
You may have chewed up the hubs already or actuators that engage the hubs. I didn't catch my "grinding" soon enough on the 2nd go round of IWE issues and Ford replaced everything (check valve, lines, actuators, and hub assemblies) on their dime via the known TSB.
I just replaced my check...
There are a few on here running full e85 tunes. I have not completely converted to e85 yet because it gets so cold in MN that I am gun shy. I told myself I would change the high pressure fuel pump this spring/summer. I definitely like the idea of not having to mix fuel with every fill up.
Reach out to Goosetuned (@GooseTuned). His customer service is above and beyond any other service provider. He will get you set up with a Cobb AP tuner and custom maps, including a tow map. You will need an upgraded intercooler and CAI if want to run stage 2 maps. These trucks need some help...
