Thank you. This makes sense after seeing that the rail system and crossbars are mounted above the bed itself taking on the weight. Appreciate the reply.
I think it’s slightly more complicated than that. Used and new car markets aren’t exactly the same. I’m getting top dollar for my used car but buying new at MSRP. Sure, in a normal supply year I could get under MSRP but not as much off as I’m getting for my used car.
As for the housing market...
I'm surprised I'm not seeing many Diamondback recommendations. Seems robust, has a high load threshold and multiple configurations. They also partner with Front Runner so you can get a rack installed for a roof top tent, MT bike, cases, etc. I think I'm going with an HD version.
I just spoke with Ford Performance today about my build (blend date of 8/30). He said my truck should be built and completed by the factory by 8/30 and then will be sent to get the 'aftermarket parts' (i.e. bedliner) and that it should only take an extra day or two. He didn't say anything about...
You know what? I think you’re right. After looking at photos, the mirrors are connected around the a-pillar and the front fenders are wider than the connection point. So even if the mirrors are each 10 inches wide, it doesn’t increase the overall width by 20 inches since the fenders are sticking...
Yeah, won’t be an issue once it’s in. I have a few feet on the driver side (the garage is a lot wider once you pass through the doors) and another bay on the passenger side. Just want to make sure I can get through the door opening.
I’ve got an order in production and I just realized I never measured the dimensions of my garage. Ford website says 86.6” without mirrors (that’ll fit) but 96” with mirrors (won’t fit).
Does anyone know if that means 86.6” with mirrors folded in and 96” without? I can’t imagine mirrors folded...
Thanks for the reply and information. Makes sense re: chip shortage and general sale vs. press launches. Also appreciate the endorsement going from Range to Raptor. I think it will be a good transition too. My only concern is Highway comfort. My Range eats up those miles so so well. Ford let me...
I’m thinking about swapping my current ride (L405 Range Rover) for a gen 3 raptor when the dust settles (i.e. no dealer markups, non-sellers market, etc.). Been lurking for a while and love what Ford did with gen 2’s.
Having said that, does anyone know when gen 3 reviews might come out? Seeing...
