I’m thinking there are going to be quite a few early adopters that paid hefty ADMs for 37 Package 2021 trucks with some buyer’s remorse when they see 2022 37 Pack trucks with black interiors for $5-15K less than they paid.
Going out on a limb and assuming if he was dumb enough to not realize the lights were covered then he will be equally dumb in their use. The drivers in your town thank you in advance.
Even if they wanted to give you another truck, there are no 37 pack trucks out there to give. And you further complicated any potential follow on Lemon Law proceedings by willingly paying ADM. You would eat all of that should the worst come to pass.
You have enough money to pay $10,000 over...
I wouldn’t count on the 3.5. I doubt they want this thing stepping on the actual Raptor’s toes. I anticipate the 3.0 from the Aviator/Explorer ST. But that would necessitate a new transmission since the 10-speed in the current Bronco is nearly maxed out with the 2.7 torque.
I would not be...
Raptors aren’t the best tow vehicles but you should be fine with a small travel trailer. I towed a 3600 pound lightweight camper with a Gen1 without issue. Just be mindful that you are taking a big bite out of the payload capacity with nearly 500 pounds of tongue weight. You run the risk of...
Raptors have kind of always been a ‘looks better in person’ proposition. Gen3 is no exception. The main issue with it seems to be the truck is getting incrementally larger and the wheels and tires now look a little small.
I call BS on headrest speakers until proven otherwise. My wife’s Miata RF has Bose audio with headrest speakers and it is quite obvious that sound comes out. Ford is bullshitting.
How generous of you. Are you a dealer? Doubtful as you would’ve listed a website and 3 different contact methods if you were.
Not sure why this forum is so on board with private sellers flipping trucks for profit but get all up in arms if somebody tries to ‘sell’ an allocation or a dealer puts...
That is still just awful. It sounds maybe e 10% better but it is 30% more embarrassing because it is more aggressive but still cheesy. Just give up, Ford. A V6 will never sound good.
The severe lack of cars at dealerships is not going to help matters. Those sales departments are desperate to make money as they have had zero inventory for months.
That aftermarket parts hanger is a 'rival' to the Raptor in the same way my wife is a 'rival' to a supermodel. Sure, they look vaguely similar from 200 feet away but to those that know, they know--ya know?
No one is going to 'convert' anything. They are going to maybe get a leveling kit and wheels and tires and be done. People have been doing it for years with Raptors. Not saying it is ideal. Not saying Ford would release it as such and back it with a warranty. Not saying it is going to be as...
I guess nothing if it is occasional for storage or to work on the truck. I was more referring to a guy that buys a Raptor, finds it won't fit in his dinky townhouse garage and he has to air down the tires every day. I guess that would be okay if you had some mythical central tire inflation...
Agreed. The Tremor would be a lot more interesting to me were it available in the SuperCab configuration that the Raptor has abandoned with the new generation. A SCAB with the long bed would be great for my use case (see my comment above about doing 'truck stuff'). I understand that I am...
Just built a Tremor the way I would spec one and it came out to $60,445. Ouch. That is with mid pack, bedliner, torsen diff, power pro onboard and tow pack. Makes little sense at that price but if things ever 'normalize', these will be sitting on dealer lots with $5K rebates on the hood. I...
