It’s def subjective thing. But factory paint leaves a lot to be desired from orange peel and contaminants to being burned thru super easily and even not enough base coat coverage (which is the case with a lot of Raps).
as for OP, I did ceramic coating with some minimal paint correction just...
SCA used to be Southern Comfort. They put the ADD bumpers on and the lift is a rebadged Fabtech 4” then they usually add SCA 20” wheels and some 37’s. Looks like they just put on some fuels tho. But the did paint the truck a matte grey, which is kinda a cool color. Seen a new Chevy with that color
I don’t think you could even notice a difference at 1” over stock. I did the Eibach springs on my 19 and love them. Seems pretty level to me, def not nose high. Ride is just as good as stock imo.
Had Rigid lights on my Jeep and loved them. Bought the BD’s for the Rap and love them. Biggest thing I like on the BD is being able to change the lenses out. I didn’t think I’d care about that but after having them for a few months I actually switched one set out for amber lenses. Realky the...
^^very true. If you can afford it, buy it, who cares what you do with. But that extra few grand you speak of is only spent on the off-road prowess of the truck. So it seems pointless to pay an extra few grand for it. But having said that, I did and I live NOWHERE near dunes and drive 99% on road...
I got quoted $1576 for a set of 20” from mrwheeldeal. When you sign up for the newsletter from Venomrex I think they give you $200 off a set of wheels also which puts them close to that price. I love the 601’s.
Also I didn’t realize that almost $400 per wheel was a “cheap” wheel
what up everybody. Had my Rap a couple months now, been scouring through the forum for a couple months before my purchase. Great info here, along with the usual nonsense in all forums. Came from a long line of Jeeps before this truck. This is my first truck and loving it so far. I put the eibach...
Don’t let people piss on ur parade. If you wanna go 37’s then do it. It can be done regardless of what some of these keyboard warriors say. I’m new here and just got my Rap less than a month ago, but I’ll be doing 37’s at some point. I ran into the same crap on Jeep forums. I had 3.5” lift and...
I’m curious as to any trimming or rubbing also. I really liked the RG’s I had on my Jeep. Had 37’s and they weren’t super loud on the hwy and they balanced really well to. Nice truck!
