Brakes were done about 10k+ miles ago, but I could use new pads. Battery will be replaced as well. Its the original from June 2012.
I'm installing Geisers this time around and would like opinions as to which Deaver to go with? +2 or +3? I want to raise the front to level off with the rear. I...
I'm gonna have my truck in service to replace/flush all the fluids and have them install my new OEM shocks, springs, and Deavers/shackles. What else should I have them replace while at it? My truck is a 2012 Scab w/58k miles. I want it to run better than factory(hence, the Deavers)
I'm at almost the exact mileage you're at and I've noticed my shocks went to **** slowly over the past 3-4K miles. I have OEM replacements sitting at home, waiting for some other goodies to install all at once.
Do you guys think my MAFS needs a cleaning? Could that be the issue? I have a can of CRC MAFS cleaner. Can I just spray the entire sensor with it? Gonna try it out tomorrow and see if it make a difference. If not, the OEM intake is going back on. Shame.
Ok, just got back from work. The truck still shudders on the highway. Very weird. Almost like the driveshaft is vibrating or caught. Around town, its fine. I think I'm gonna remove it.
Ok, just got back from trying this. I disconnected the neg. battery wire for 30 min. Reconnected and started the truck. Let it idle and come up to temp for 15 min. Did the whole idle thing with the AC and then drove off for 30 min(about 15 miles) I noticed it smoothing out on my way back home. I...
I'm right there with you guys. I've had mine since new for over 9.5 yrs and its been the longest, by far, I have ever kept a vehicle. I am torn, as I get attached to all my things. It only has 57k miles and is an Scab.
Thanks.
I said the same thing 10 yrs ago when I started looking for my Raptor. NEVER had a worse experience trying to buy a car. Ford dealers will have you believe that you're buying some super limited car that only special people with very deep pockets can get. Its been a nightmare with Ford...
I had installed a drop-in K&N filter in the stock intake many years ago with zero issues. That was oiled. I ordered the oiled filter from S&B. No sock. The sensor was dry and clean, same for the throttle body.
