attempt to do the camera recal through forscan. might work, didnt for me. dealer tried to reporgram mine themselves and it also didnt work multiple times... then magically my warning went away a few days after the dealer trip and it started working again. :33:
Ive become accustomed to the truck shedding speed like crazy without heavy braking at high speed... I was driving my buddy's 991.2 c4s the other day and had a "oh shit I need more brakes than im used to" moment
im operating under the assumption that it will not be possible given that our VDM/BCM aren't set up/programmed to interface with the new shocks properly
ive updated my forscan and recent did a VDM reset and another ride height recal. my ride returned to normal (but now my passenger side front shock is noisy/clunky again). i took the truck offroad over the weekend and on the ride home i quickly noticed that the ride was stiff and bouncy...
id get forscan and a cable then do it yourself. its handy tool to have on hand and easy to make some other tweaks that improve the overall experience/functionality with the truck. you may find the need to recalibrate the truck again in the future, so best to be able to do yourself on demand...
When this happened to your truck was the sound only coming from the center speaker or were the other speakers (esp the rear) muted as compared to the front center?
i think so too given that my friends wife had been driving his powerboost all over town with the dif locked and was wondering why the tires were squealing around tight turns in the city...
I have:
U0122--lost comms with VDM, specifically headlamp control
U023A--lost comms with Image processing module A, specifically power steering control
U0121--lost comms with ABS control module A, again related to power steering
U0415--invalid data received from ABS control module A, again...
yeah mine went back to full stiff last week and threw a bunch of other codes where abs and other modules were losing communication. going back in to the dealer tomorrow. im beginning to think its a wiring harness issue but who knows. i dont think software updates is going to fix the issue here
thats a good idea. im on my third mx4 as the others started leaking at various places on the seals between the panels where the top folds. Their CS suggested using silicone the next time i have a leak pop up, which i assume i will.
