Well my truck started riding terribly again despite the recal a couple of days ago. I filled the truck up and did another recal then monitored the ride height sensors for a bit. It looks like my left rear rideheight sensor or solenoid is *****— @FordTechOne do you agree? I do plan to take this...
no, at least not that ive noticed, but they sure make clean up a lot easier. i installed mine without the trim tool, massive PITA. highly recommend anyone interested in these buys the tool.
I did and will need to go to the dealer to get the update. My truck has never done an over the air update since getting in last January.
I was able to just get it into engineering mode by going to the recal option while having the truck in neutral, then turning it off then back on and within...

I hit an owl in the middle of the night that swooped down out of nowhere going at least 70 on a country road. I have no idea how my windshield didnt get destroyed or even a crack. just a bit of a blood smear
the truck is stock and ive never seen any DTCs from the VDM, but i tend to agree with your hypothesis bc this for sure happens everytime i use the truck as intended off pavement. Oddly enough, its happened on pavement too a day or two after doing the ride height recal without hitting any rough...
