Bonding strap is wide (wide is better) to lower capacitance for stray RF interference signals shielded by the hood coming from the various digital signals. And protecting the electronics in the car from strong RF signals outside the car. (CB/Ham Radio, Police etc. Not just for grounding.

The Whipple tune I installed a few weeks back “fixed” the standard Ford shifting for me. Read... smoother and better timed on both standard and sport mode. With, of course, the added performance of the tune.

FWIW I replaced my stock spark plugs for the SP542's, gapped at 025
With CAI and Whipple tune the car definitely to starts easier and idles smoother.
No science/measurement to the conclusion.. just observation.
Are you sure it's coming from inside? On my 18 SCrew the rubbers between the bed and the cabin squeak like hell. Particularly can be heard when opening the back window. Or... if you have a bed cover, check the hoses they use on some models to drain the water from the cover rails. Anyway... just...

Installed the update without any glitch or CEL.
The truck pulls like Hulk Hogan on a double dose of steroids. [emoji23] Seriously.... power, throttle response and shifting all has significantly improved over standard.
Very happy! Now... what’s next.... hmmmm.

I added a Roush CAI. (No CEL) I noticed the difference in power but it’s very small. Sound from under the hood is definitely different.
Would not have done it if the Whipple tune (any day now) wasn’t the next step.

Any thoughts about doing this without the intercooler? Basically the software and the CAI?
I’m looking for additional HP in my normal daily drives combined with improved throttle response and improved shifting in sport mode.
