Thanks it's holding up strong. Had a car in front of me the other day use their washer fluid and it went all over my hood. I just watched it all bead off the hood at 70mph. Was pretty cool.
Interesting. Literally never had this happen. I do think they've always been new every time I've done it. Of course with good prep too.
How long did it take for them to show whiteness? My gen 2 was done the same way from new and looked fantastic for the 1 year I had it.
And no never seen his...
Yep I feel ya. I used Carpro Iron X as well for this but didn't see much. Then again, it's hard to see purple on this color. But yeah I also used Wipe Out to remove the Sonax and then did one last Wipe Out wipe down too.
And yes I had 3 pads on deck for the 5" and 3" and used them all.
Heck yeah! At lease do a cheap spray on coating that'll last 3-9 months! oh and Chemical Guys spray coating is not worth the money. Adams is probably decent.

Interesting, never heard of an issue with DLUX on new plastics. I did have a Gen 2 raptor from new and put DLUX on the same plastics when they were new. Had it for 13 months and the plastics looked great the whole time. For other peoples cars, I might heed more caution. Also the plastics on the...
Yeah the bigger point is that it stays cleaner longer, the plastics will stay rich dark black for years like a permanent armoral. If you get tree sap on it, it'll just wash off super easy.
Dust is big out here so dust clings less to it. Oh and a maintenance wash is sooooooo easy.
Hey Guys!
Been waiting on this thing for months. Was 9/20 squad and it showed up 10/14 to dealer. It's 801, Moonroof, CF, Power tech and applique delete.
Because I'm a detail freak, I told them not to wash, just PDI and take off plastic.
Been planning the full ceramic job for months so this...
I agree with the OP and this guy.
Had 2 Gen 2's and was not expecting that much of a change. Also didn't love the exterior but now that I have mine, it's a big difference and they do look better in person.
Hi All,
I am wanting to simply know if a +1 on a 9" wide wheel is still the perfect fitment like it was on the GEN 2? Just a hair of poke but not really. For example below.
In other words are the offsets the same gen 2 vs gen 3?
Welp I think mine got high jacked! It hit the railroads and was giving multiple updates per day via visibility...
Now hasn't updated since the 3rd. Stick in Chicago, IL. Go figure:(
Update on mine. It SHIPPED!
In transit and on railcar as of 9/30, 7 additional railcar updates on 10/1 per visibility. She's moving!
This leads me to believe the ETA of 10/20-1026 will be wrong and it'll come sooner.
Parasitic drain. It's hard to diag but a good tech can figure it out. Like the poster above. Find another dealer and let them know what the previous dealer couldn't do.
