I have nothing really to add to this discussion other than to vent I am officially sick of waiting for this stupid truck. Ordered early Oct, finally built 5/15, and ETA for delivery keeps advancing, and now ETA is “TBD”.
Currently driving around in a 2012 CRV given to me for free, silly me...
That is super interesting to hear. I spent 4 months searching and could not find any product available…anywhere from any vendor that made longer studs for our trucks, 1.5 pitch or even 2.
Very nice. Curious how many turns you got on the front lugs with the spacers installed? My gen2 had longer lugs in the back, so I’m curious how much thread engagement you got on the fronts with a 7mm spacer in the equation.
I don’t understand all this talk of shipping delays. I just shipped my wife’s new audi coast to coast and it took 3 days to assign an enclosed carrier.
It’s not so simple depending on the state you register it. Highly recommend researching states that allow this without tax penalties. For example I know in California this would be impossible to do witthout tax implications for your situation.
Thanks, if they’re going to introduce some wild redesign with a premium markup I’d rather just order the roush calipers, 21+ brackets, and a thicker spacer or new wheels.
Anyone know why these kits don’t fit the gen 3 trucks but fit the regular 21+ f150s? I don’t see why the calipers would be any different, maybe different brackets?
If my kids had that kind of power over my financial decisions I too would be asking 20k over to recoup my other cascading losses. Somebody help this guy out.
Incredible write up!!
Question: I’m interested in the triple fog brackets so I can add DD SS3 pros. Is it possible to only add two SS3s per side instead of 3? 3 just looks too crowded for me, I would be perfectly happy with two per side.
Good luck buddy let us know what SVC says. I don’t live too far from their shop and was surprised to hear they messed up like this and nothing corrected yet. I think alot of folks don’t want to speak up about poor ride quality when doing these types of upgrades. Thanks for sharing.
Based on what another member reported, these collars raise the front well over 1.5”, SVC didn’t do their homework before releasing these. That could be why the ride is so bad?
Enjoy the drive! I’ll be making my 30+ drive back to socal as well in the next few months hopefully. Rather than get it over with as fast as possible, I been planning some stops and places to visit.
I am actually in a similar situation as the OP. I am In cali and ordering a 37pp across the country. My total costs to make the trip out and back with everything is right at about 1.2k. Vehicle depreciation is nonexistent, used prices are well above what I am paying. 1.2k in travel cost to save...
My dealer took it off everything. It doesn’t show on the ford site or the dealer site. It’s an in transit loaded 37pp. They are a family dealership who offered me a great deal and no nonsense.
My unpopular opinion: PPF is a waste of money. I have used PPF on 3 vehicles spanning across about 10 years. Rock chips big enough to notice still make it through the film and nick the paint. Except it looks even worse because now there’s a chunk of raised/ripped plastic in addition to the paint...
Did you say teal??? Ugh that's my favorite color, wondering if that is going to be part of the color line up for the MY23's now. Do I keep my 37pp atlas blue with the holy grail tailgate applique, or wait for a MY23 teal with a pheasant tailgate...decisions decisions.
Hey all,
Does anyone know of installers experienced with our raptors, specifically the B&O unleashed system, in the LA/OC area? I'm just looking to upgrade the sub (as much as I can fit under the seat) and amp, and from what I am reading this is not a simple plug and play upgrade. Looking for...
Oh I see I understand now. You didn't do a before measurement to see how much lift you needed. That's my concern as well, I've decided to wait until my order comes in and I've driven 1k miles or so to see where I'm sitting before I decide how much lift I want.
Lol what? I asked what your before measurement was, and you said 1.5” lower. That means the 1.5 rpg collar gave you exactly 1.5” of lift as advertised. That’s great news and good to know.
