I think they are purposely being vague to give them broad authority to deny trucks based on what they learn before or during the event. If I were to guess, I would think anything that modifies the stock suspension components, including air bumps which is a completely new component to the system...
Just wanted to put this out there to save anyone potential headache since it seems like some posters a few pages back couldn't find the wording. There absolutely is a disclaimer that modified vehicles will not be allowed to participate on their course purely at their discretion. Copied word for...
This is awesome! I too have atlas blue and have been wondering about a midflap setup. I’ll be converting to bypasses in the rear pretty soon and could use the protection.
just an FYI the gen2 mojave is frame cut, the gen3 mojave is bolt on and has a different look. SVC posted a month or so back they were developing a frame cut version of the mojave for gen3 as well.
Haha haven’t heard that term yet. Mine is still in progress, will be completed around summer/fall hopefully. I don’t believe the revised UCA’s are out in the wild yet, or if they are it’s probably just one or two. I’ve been contemplating starting a build thread or some type of IG account for the...
Excellent write up thanks for sharing! I wasn’t looking for a setup quite as extreme and it seemed Kevin may not have been as interested in my build idea so he never called me back. No knock on him and his team though, seems like a world class shop and great dude. As a small business owner...
Baja mode also desensitizes the airbags and removes more driving aids than traction control alone. My goto is baja mode, advance trac off, 2WD manual. Takes care of the sustained reving when not desired.
I ordered these downpipes as part of my build. The truck won’t be back from the shop for another few months though. Will post sound clips to my IG when it’s finished.
This isn’t a dark color but it’s not light either lol. This is my atlas blue truck with the Morimoto Tails I just installed. I’m still figuring out instagram, hopefully this link works:
AB with Morimoto Tails
Lol relax buddy, I don't care enough to go back and dig it up. My opinion is worth what it's cost, I'll post as I like thanks. See you out on the trails, I see you on the streets from time to time as well. I currently run 0 offset wheels and have never run into an issue. I also don't rock crawl...
If the tire shop mounts and removes the tires from the opposite side, there is zero risk to rim damage. Every tire shop that does trucks all the time knows this. Make sure the shop has experience with trucks, a regular tire center like costco may or may not be able to get the tires removed...
Shoot me a message here anytime, in this thread or private message. Always willing to work to make a local deal. We live pretty close to each other. If you are local I'm willing to throw in a spare for free. The spare does have scratches in it, which is why I didn't list it originally.
SOLD
$2000+ shipping. Excellent condition, factory takeoffs from my 2022 F150 Raptor 37pp. Anthracite grey. Total of four (4) rims, including center caps, no TPMS. Please take a very close look at each photo, what you see is exactly what you get. The rims are in excellent condition but have...
You sir are correct, my apologies, that bump has been removed. I’ve taken rear hits so hard I was staring at the ground wondering if I was going to flip, and the bumps didn’t compress all the way, there was about an inch left of travel. The limiting bump must be the one in the shock.
I’m going to double check that tonight to make sure I’m not spreading misinformation. RPG installed my RPG bumps themselves, so however they did it I trust is correct.
I don’t know about the SVC kit, but that’s not how the RPG and foutz kits work. They are designed around the 35 platform, meaning you get full piston travel with a 35 shock setup. On a 37pp you are limited by the extra height of the rear factory bumps, and thus lose about an inch of air bump...
You can always use a borescope and check them yourself for a tapered seat, only thing is I don’t know if plugs can be reused like that. If nobody has an answer here by the time I’m ready that’s probably what I’ll do.
