Yea, it kind of looks like "fling" from a rotating component, not a typical leak.
Id wipe it and see if it comes back. Best case scenario, its a 1 time deal from a glob of assembly lube or something like that.
Dont use an exacto. Theres is no way you wont compromise the paint at some point unless you peel to "lift" then cut, however it wont stick the same and it just wont be that clean.
Your best bet is new aftermarket graphics, trim prior to install or find a vinyl shop and go custom.

+1 for IDGAF about the interior, however Id say compared to its competitors is on par.
Im happy Ford directed their resources to other aspects of the truck and skimped (to some) a little on the interior.
I doubt youll find any aftermarket that fits as good as stock.
I read a few times on here that there is a transmission flash out there that may help. Its not advertised, meaning theres no TSB, mailer or alert on the Ford Pass app. Id call the dealer and see if theres something available and hopefully it does the trick. Its probably the 1st thing they would...
Besides the sound you describe, is the truck driving well? Good power, rpms fluctuate normally/does it up and downshift well? (in normal mode)
If thats all good Id take a peek in the front above the skid plate and check around the EBOV, make sure those plastic/semi rigid hoses are seated right...

Also, the upfitter switch shouldnt kill the battery. Mine are not powered unless the ignition is on. I leave 2 switches on all the time...
If you have a physical grind you should take it to the dealer.
If its just an initial lag then thats not uncommon. Mine will lag on the 1st shift every so often if I dont let the truck warm up for a min. Just let it warm up (rpm drop) and its fine.
Something out of the vending machine and thats about it.....
In all seriousness the only thing I got was an extended from my dealer, they price matched the best price I could find from an online source. 6y/125k for a lil over $2K I believe.

Bakflip F1, one year in. Good as new, no durability issues. It was always about 95% water tight. I may get a few beads rolling down the inside bedsides after hosing it down. Im ok with that.

Just because you order doesnt mean the allocation is ready to be pulled. It all depends where the dealer is at in its given allocation for the year. The dealer can take orders all day but Ford decides when to pull the order. Im my case I ordered but...
You shouldnt have any knocking you can feel through the steering wheel. If its consistent your best bet is to take it to the dealer and have them feel what you are describing.
