I wouldn't call these tunes shit. If you know DME then you'll know that they offer the biggest power gains for a lot of exotic/foreign cars. The burble is just an add on to your tune. You can still make power gains and on top of that you'll have the option for burble. Again, everyone has their...
Before I bought my truck I was shopping around for performance cars - c63s, m3s and such. Ultimately at that time I decided to go with the Raptor because I figured it would be good in the winter as we get a decent amount of snow here in VA sometimes and because it held value pretty well. After...
Alright fellow Raptor brethren and libtard @Ruger... just wanted to jump in and say I've raced multiple cars off the line and spanked em lol. Golf R, G63, GTI, WRX and I was neck and neck once with an SRT Jeep. Jeep did have four passengers in it however. Anyways, I'm pretty impressed just how...
Paddles aren't responsive enough to use around town and in scenarios where you run through gears pretty fast - this right here is another issue. They could take note from the Germans that have an almost instant paddle response even in lower end cars like the Golf.
Fellow VA guy here haha! I'm up in Tyson's. Truck looks great, got 5% sides and 30% windshield on my truck. Would've told you to go darker ahead of time because I've never been pulled over for my tints or no front plate lol.
I think it would really help with making the 3.5 EB sound better!! I really just got the desire from watching vids of M's and AMG's with burble lol. I don't think it's too difficult to execute. You just need to tune the fuel injectors to inject fuel after you left off the gas I assume? It's...
Love the performance of the Turbo but it's just so hard to get those things to sound great let alone to unmute the exhaust note. Panamera GTS however IS in my crosshairs.
Agree with you on the Germans. Much better build quality and overall I find the vehicles to be more precise in terms of everything all round. Only concern is putting lot of miles on those cars. Not sure how they will fair in the long run past 50-60k miles which is what I plan on putting on them.
Update: Still have the truck, mileage is just over 5,000. All commuter miles, hasn't been taken off-road or driven hard in any way. I avoid driving in rain and the truck is kept under a cover unless it's being driven. Forgot to mention that I do have prepaid maintenance and extended warranty on...
Guy at the shop told me my rears were about 20-25% and in order to match that with the 5% film I put in the front I'd have to add a 20% film on top of the rears. So basically the rear has 20% film on top of the stock 20-25% dyed glass which equals 5% in the rear.
Been four months with 30% on the windshield and haven't been pulled over or gotten into any accidents. Don't have any issues with visibility at night or in dim lighting maybe because I'm a younger guy and have good vision lol. Also, backing up and parking isn't too bad. Just roll down the...
