I wouldn't worry about some skid plate damage unless it's absolutely thrashed. So easy to smash the skid plate without actually abusing the truck.
The biggest enemy here is the transaction cost of changing vehicles. Dealer and tax man generally want several thousand dollars each.
Does engine torque under 2000 RPM matter at all when running through a torque converter automatic? Not asking rhetorically, I think the answer is no as you're only just past (stock) converter stall speed, but not certain.
LS (still my favorite engine, sorry everyone) is a tiny...
Question I've never found a certain answer to: is there a single radio out there that supports both amateur and CB bands? Pretty sure the answer is no due to fundamental incompatibility.
Always thought that'd be kinda cool (starting with a regular F-150) and looks good IMO. Think it might look better with flares painted and non-raptor F-150 bumper/grille though (not sure if Raptor hood/fenders can line up with those though).
Thinking about picking a set of OEM beadlocks up from craigslist and then having the trim rings powdercoated to replace my stock cast wheels. Anyone done this (any color, black or otherwise) with the 2019/2020 wheels?
Pic attached is photoshop from a dealer video...only the front is done...
Think it's actually a bit heavier than that, as they weigh it with the 305hp V6 and no options. Car and Driver estimates 5400-5800lb for '19 Rebel: https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/a19561753/2019-ram-1500-rebel-first-drive-review/
LOL that's actually pretty hilarious. Nothing wrong with more competition.
Wonder if there's more than one powertrain option in the TRX? I can't see them making this as mass-produced as Raptor *and* 700hp. Could see a standard 395hp Hemi (or one set up to make 451hp) being the base option.
I ordered mine from Husky directly on April 23, they showed up April 30. New style. So far like them, install wasn't as bad as expected...two people doing it helped.
2011 did the same thing. It was a dumb design then, and it's a dumb design now. If they really want this configurable, make it a configuration setting.
It should be fine to drive around with the hubs locked as long as transfer case is in 2wd. When the front wheels turn they'll turn the front axles/diff/ driveshaft, which will cause mechanical drag and burn more gas. It's fine for pavement though as long as it's disconnected at transfer case...
I don't think that's the problem...it's the giant gaps at the bottom on the tailgate. Turn the bedlight on in darkness and close tailgate+tonneau. They're huge.
Still trying to figure out a solution to "reasonably" seal it on mine, the weatherstrip I bought is way too small for the gap.
There is, but it's pretty weak relative to most others. And if you dine in, you'll spend 5 minutes trying to figure out which Raptor is yours when you leave.
* Interior fuse #10 kills FordPass if you don't like everywhere you go being databased and resold.
* Lightening the brake pressure when you stop will let avoid triggering the ASS (auto start stop).
* Engineering test mode for instrument cluster can be accessed by holding next track buttons on...
Just saw on Craigslist... I AM NOT THE SELLER, have no idea who this is, if it's legit, etc.
