Think of it like a wheelbarrow with the WDH arms bring the handles. The tighter the chains from bars to trailer frame the more force to is putting back on your front axle, which means better steering control. The tightness of the chains varies depending on how much load is on the front. If you...
What’s Overkill?
You could get by with the extensions they offer for the factory bump stops, but if you think there is any chance you might upgrade to hydraulic bumps do yourself a favor and install the bump plates when you do springs so you don’t have to later.

I upgraded the rear springs to Icons's and the SVC bump stop with 2.5 FOX shocks.
I'm running the Icon's on the second setting, and I have Gieser springs in the front.
Those are what I used before I upgraded the suspension. Are you using a WDH? You will end up changing the rear springs eventually, they just won’t hold up.

Depends on the size of the ATV's or the kayaks. I've had 18' flat deck trailers before but unless it's for a special purpose I'd never go under 18 ft again especially on an enclosed. Go V nose if you can it's amazing what even a slight v nose will do for you. If you ever thought about getting a...
So as far as I can tell after reading though all of this, it's that the front bracket used between the top mounted plate, and the front of the skid plate slips too far forward and F's up the pinion seal and deflector (on some trucks), correct? This is only an issue with the skid plate option? To...
I towed the trailer once or twice with stock suspension, rear springs were toast after that. In that photo it is Geiser upfront and Icon rear in the #2 setting, SVC rear bump kit with Fox 2.5

18ft plus 5 foot v nose. I'm wanting to upgrade to an ATC unit with similar configuration maybe about 2 foot longer. Curt WDH and trailer is 4300 unloaded.
You need to either buy the adaptors or upgrade to pneumatic bump stops. Lots of options depending on how you plan to use the truck.

Where are you located and what are you using the truck for will give people enough information to give a few recommendations.

No. He had the mishimoto tank, hose blew off and he overheated his engine 100 miles from anywhere. The mishimoto tank has some bad hose connection points. I either read that in this thread or another one where he talked about it but I’ve seen a few others state the same. I’m getting my list...
That's the same problem I struggled with. The Swarfworks kit is great, but don't know how often I would need it. An aftermarket cooler and some gear, I'll add an Inreach to my recovery kit, rarely is there any cell reception where I go.
How do your cameras do for night shots? Clear enough or do you get light flares? I believe it was the Blackvue I looked at that had lens filters but thought I'd get some input on here since there were several brands mentioned.
