I’m moving/downsizing and have a full bumper with hitch. No sensors. Will not ship but free to a good home. I’m in between Lafayette, Louisville and Boulder CO.
2018 Gen 2
Even if you leave the shutter motor in you still get the code. The shutter motor will just keep spinning. I tried it with and without. That being said you have to scan for that code. I think you have a possible random waste gate or BOV problem. I would think a leak would be obvious.
My guess would be this truck was not driven hard. Someone loved the look and the tech and used it as a highway commute truck. They probably didn’t have a lot of problems on a vehicle that they drove for 105k, you just move on to the next commute Automobile. it’s nice to see some 100k mile...
That kit is going to be hard to get out of. It’s a bummer when Raptors get cut up with big lift kits. You may want to get a good trade in and buy another raptor. Good luck
No auto start/stop there’s a 2-3 second delay from full brake to accelerator. Feels like a stall kit. I believe it has been complained about and documented as normal by Ford. This is a F-550, not sure if 3/4 and 1 tons are the same.
I’m glad the raptor 10 speed doesn’t act the same way. you can drive around it with light brake pressure before the light turns green but if you forget it’s like a 2-3 second delay
Company got me a new F-550 this year. She weighs in at 18500lb’s fully loaded. The commercial trucks are de tuned but still have decent power. My only complaint after 8000 miles is the 10 speed lag off the line, I think it has something to do with the dual clutch
Another vote for icon’s. I was able to help at the alignment shop because they were not sure how to use the UCA’s with a slot delete. The alignment mechanic was very pleased with the ease of adjustment.
Don’t get stuck on a number. Try to find someone with a stage 2 tune that will give you a ride. A tune really wakes this truck up and if you need more the E-50 tune is amazing for a truck on 35’s
You would loosen the LCA bolts with it sitting normal on the ground, let it settle and then tighten them up. Check on torque spec I’ve seen 200 to 400 ft lb’s. It’s a pain without a drive on lift or a pit.
