You’ll need a very thin wrench to get underneath to grab the old nut and loosen it. I think it’s somewhere between...
So far, yea they’re excellent for the road. That’s one of the reasons I got them. Didn’t want the added weight and loss of performance with MTs. They’re also not true 37s, they’re 36.5 like BFGs.
Here’s a pic after flattening the driver’s side and hitting it with some black paint. Zero rubbing. Even at full lock on a sloped driveway there’s nearly 2” of clearance. I’m going to get ADV fenders soon anyways so if I blow out a flare on a jump, oh well.
Usually guys will figure out where to meet the week of. 9:30 is the “meet at a gas station nearby time.” Depending on where you’re from there’s usually a few guys meeting locally to drive out together though, I know a few from Tampa usually do that.
Also, you should get a FB just for the group...
Dude I was in the same boat but I only gave it about a month before disputing with my cc. I needed the compression rate of option 3 for when I go overlanding, but I was getting 3.50” of lift with 450 pounds in the bed. It’s only supposed to life 3.00” with zero load! They kept telling me to...
Icon’s customer service will never help you. Their ultimate solution/response for me was to just forget about the issues I was having. Nobody you speak to at their support team know anything about trucks, they’re all just sales people reading spec sheets.
Same issues I had when I had icons for 1 month before having to get them refunded through a cc claim and switching to Deavers. They are inconsistent on heights, build quality, compression rates, etc. If you go icon just hope it’s not too bad but no two springs from them are ever consistent.
@Caleb Sousley Keep in mind that you HAVE to relocate ACC with most (if not all) aftermarket front bumpers. Most bumpers will also require FMIC. Some bumpers may include brackets for the ACC, or will charge extra for it. But if you’re getting a FMIC anyways, SVC’s includes the bracket and also...
I used the winch one for a while and it’s great. Second @V6Raptor that I’ve never had an issue with SVC’s IC and ACC bracket. I will say that people have issues with ADD bumper finish rather often, so get it coated somehow to protect it. I had mine Line-X’d. The only downside with the winch one...
Not yet, I actually didn’t get around to removing it until yesterday. Taking a break while the steel-it dries on the frame cuts as I type before putting the SVC Mojave on. I’ll PM you.
Icon leaf springs. They were way off spec, each was different, procurement was horrible, parts missing, stupid customer service. Switched to Deavers a month after and will never purchase another Icon product as long as I live.
Also the front runner rack. I already got rid of it. It’s cool and...
Does anyone run a Retrax with some type of rack/rails on fiberglass bedsides? I have a Retrax One XR that I use with rhino rack rails and a Tepui pent. Pricing up doing ADV bedsides and fenders but curious about the ability to put stuff on the rails. Since you still leave the inner aluminum part...
Located in Tampa, FL. If I go a few months without being able to sell locally then maybe I’ll consider dealing with freight.
Bumper does include the fog light covers that say Stealth Fighter (I just don’t rock them). Includes all hardware and the ADD frame reinforcement brackets which are...
@FINRPTR These other replies are kinda half answered.
In the cab, on the right of the front passenger footwell where the interior fuse box is you’ll have one set of wires. These are the pass thru wires.
In the engine bay right in front of the firewall and kinda behind the main fuse box, you’ll...
I’ll check for you this weekend when I’m back in town. It’s either 3M or Avery that has a VERY close match, I have full sample decks of both and remember checking when I first got my 2019. It would definitely work for what you want though.
I have not personally taken them off but I have heard that they are held on by clips that almost always break when you remove them. Hence why the bed rail caps are almost always on back order from Ford. That’s coming from somebody who works in a Ford dealership body shop.
This is why the one thing I own from
ADD I had Line-X’d...and I’ll be selling that bumper shortly anyways. I hear too many horror stories about their finishes and zero liability on their end when issues arise.
