Anyone ever mess with rock lights on the bottom? I'm stepping in-and-out of the truck a lot at the ranch at night, and I thought it would be nice to light up the ground better to avoid an expensive snake bite. I see they sell specific "rock" lights but an underbody strip light kit might work...
Hey thanks for including the lighting zone info. Very helpful. And yeah also planning to add some S2s out back because its hard to reverse out on the trails with all the dust and brush...even worse trying to maneuver a trailer.
So do you think there is any issue with the yellow lighting being...
Looking for advice. I have zero experience with offroad lighting. I'm wanting to put some lights up front. Bumper and then A-pillar; no interest in filling the fog light holes at this time. My primary application is use out at a dusty south Texas ranch where there are some open stretches of dirt...
I've noticed that also. But if it were due to issues plaguing them I'm sure we'd know by now. If you have a pending deal that you feel good about then I'd say go for it. Keep us posted.
Ford needs to wake up and see how people are getting soured on the brand because of the buying experience. The supply chain and productivity issues are one thing, but the dealership experience is the last step before taking delivery and it should not be the cluster hassle that it is. Then god...
Nothing against the vehicle itself, just the rollout of it. Outrageously priced, dealership games, unobtainable...just a lot of hard feelings. And did I mention outrageously priced? LOL. Just a damn ford truck, but folks acting like they'd sacrifice their firstborn to get their hands on one.
My original leaf springs were useless by around 25,000 miles. Icons were a HUGE step up over factory but there was a break-in period during which they were noisy. Even now I get some sort of popping sound during extreme articulation. Makes me not want to even bother taking them apart to add the...
The glass portion of my sunroof is working fine, thank god. But recently the shade got to where it was struggling to close those last few inches. Then when I opened the shade i heard a couple of loud pops and two little tiny plastic tab-looking pieces fell out. Henceforth my sunshade will open...
Revisiting this since a few months have passed. The whine has recently gotten louder, and I hear it on most days. Now I'll hear it even after the drivetrain has warmed up...and during all driving conditions. occasionally I'll hear it going down the highway while driving up a hill.
Tailgate pads are super easy and convenient (and affordable) but with the bikes positioned overhead the bed is still open for camping gear. Plus even the softest pad will still rub the paint on your bike frame.
Looks nice. Those over-the-bed bike racks are the way to go. Just watch for the awnings at the fast food drive thru. How do you manage the flip up cover with the cross bars on there? Will the back 1/3 at least flip up?
Do you know the whine/whirl noise our transmissions make when driving in reverse?...I've started noticing my truck making that noise going forward in drive. Its not very loud and it clears up after a couple of minutes. Not sure if its normal and I'm just noticing after almost 3 years, or...
Do the new OEM replacement shocks also include the Live Valve solenoid? I'm ready for shock rebuild/replacement and suspect that mine never worked correctly from the factory.
