I have about 7k on these yoko GO15’s and they are mild but super quiet on the highway. A little firmer than the KO2 ‘s. They were really good in the snow as good as KO2 if not a bit better.

Agreed, maybe taking another 400lbs out of the chassis would be a better option than just throwing more power at the problem. Less weight = better handling, quicker suspension , better mpg … faster 0-60 ,so on

I think that the transmission is not as stout(as the one on the TRX )which means attempts to tune will cause the transmission to be a weak link. I think its the standard ZF 8 speed found in the reg...
I commute 250 miles a week to work in a 2004 WJ that I bought 5 years ago for 2400. 250k miles on the 4.0
However it costs 800 a year to insure and i spend about 500 a year on average in maintenance. Brakes one year , exhaust, plugs coils trans fluid last year shocks, radiator fan the year...
I heard calls don't sound good unless you answer them via entering back into the sync partition. I wanted to buy/install this but thats a hard no for me. That and my usage case is exactly as you describe.
