So many things have changed…. I’m sure many would order now hoping less chips mean Raptor is in driveway. Plus the packages as shipped from factory are closer than ever before. Hopefully by 2024 we get back to normal, we know the beginning of 2023 probably won’t be much different.
In all honesty I had never looked at the list of features so I was a bit surprised. Base still has LED and memory seats. Missing a few important things I like. It definitely is a pretty well optioned truck.
Even on Gen 2 Raptors the base trucks used were not far off price of an 802. I believe...
Considering trading a 2018 Loaded Lariat and can't find much of the loaded Raptors at MSRP most are $10k plus. Just came up with a couple of base ones at MSRP would you do it ? To me seems like a sure way to sell at a profit in a year or two and than buy the R if it is available close to MSRP...
If it is a large Adm offer to pay 60% of the Adm in cash 100s. Pretty sure all are happy to avoid the taxes. Oh the IRS and state might not like it so much. In this case there is no Adm you just lost the cash in the finance office on competed signing….. sorta hard to write off the business...
LOL Not one person even got close to $71k. I think you are looking at low $80s MSRP. A few have been bought on open market when ordered at MSRP. If at Dealership and available $10k over is probably as good as you are going to do for a while on a 37" truck.
Look on cars.com or autotrader.com...
Congrats on the selection of parts and making sure the project gets completed!! Doing your Brother a real solid and will forever reward you with smiles every time you fire Her up. Happy Holidays n
Good news 2022 is a new year. Allocations come monthly for the most part. It seems that Ford my be placing priority on Customer Orders because they are requiring a Valid License to order. In the closing of 2021s and how short the MY was allocations were extremely important. One or two chances...
Your challenge selling privately no tax credit on the new truck. In this case in WA that be about $7k. So on trade $70k is same as private seller paying you $77k. You are stuck unless dealer agrees to do paperwork when you sell and generally they will want a little $$$. Used to be they did...
I’m looking to get into one but I’m going to wait for the 2023 and hope the R’s show up. I imagine it (R) will be like a GT500 but if it is like the 37” is Today I’m going to have to think really hard. $100k is insane but everything will be so who knows…..
Right now with Gen 2 and 1 pricing it...

This thread has a link to an adjustment procedure. Hopefully that solves the problem
My dog helps remind me when I forget to switch the alarm all the time. The Panoramic roof in summer is great when camping and in comes that pesky bug. Alternative is to cover sensors many have done it.
Choose perimeter only and see if the alarm has issues. More then likely it is the cabin motion sensor. If that proves to be case you can next decide if u want to cover motion sensor or not.
Nope they are exclusive to 37” package or you can get them through parts but they aren’t cheap. Best bet is to keep look out for used ones in local online ads. Generally shipping is pricey enough it makes local buying best option.
My 2018 was last year of LFG too; until 2020 came. I believe this time it is true. I’ll be shocked if they don’t have a similar color that is hot in 2023. Every Mfg has a color that is a shade or two off from LFG.
They don't care much and you can lawyer up only if and when you have a legal case. Generally this all falls under Lemon Laws/Warranty. Most just trade the vehicle off and go on with life before whatever this horrible experience is.
Best advice is ask the dealer what the residual is on both vehicles. That will give you what Ford says the depreciation is on both over 24-36 month period. I trust their Residuals for resale more than any other speculation.
Good luck with your future and current Raptors ;-)
Windows open or bug inside. Next time it happens when you shut door select Perimeter only for Alarm. I once in a while will have this issue when leaving sunroof open in summer and a bug will set it off. You can also cover the sensors that are smaller than dime up by sunroof overhead light...
It is Roush with SC …. Just a fun WAG, I think pre-Covid it would get you the Roush Raptor with a roll bar and rack with the extra 2 wheels n tires in back.
Welcome to inflation, remember pre-bailout what a diesel Super Duty was? In a couple years this will be a Raptors MSRP.
Pretty sure he didnt like the TRX and he also did okay on the swapping even though it seems to most it would hurt a whole lot. He Got the COVID special all the way around. No other time could someone do this without a $30k plus loss. Ouch to me...
Probably not the absolute best rates but very close and EZ; BECU (Boeing Employees Credit Union). Don't have to be employee and pretty much like a big bank accept rates.
2.34% 2019 and newer
2.69% for 2011-2018
60 months with a slight bump for 72 or 84 months. Been doing business with...
If you want to see a few do a locator in your region without color on raptors. The ones I see are saying Dealer Stock but looks like 10-15% of the builds.
